Reviews for Hotel Splendide

Review 1:Wow - what a view! We had a huge room with a view straight down and along the valley. It was amazing. This was a very luxurious stop on the Tour du Mont Blanc and they had a bath which was great for tired muscles. We dined at the hotel and had the set menu which was really good.

Review 2:Dated interiors- however, still very charming

Review 3:Great views from corner rooms Great balcony overlooking the valley Short walk from town centre Big range at breakfast Tall ceilings

Review 4:We arrived too early, before 10 am, as our hiking was cancelled due to rain, but the staff at the reception let us check-in to our room! We really appreciated it, as we did not expect this! She was very friendly and welcoming.

Review 9:We stayed here while hiking the tmb and this was our favorite hotel westayed at. First off, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Thehotel was ridiculous clean and well maintained - a stunning buildingwith a stunning view. The view from our room was one of the best we hadthe entire trip. The food was delicious. We had gotten up so early wewere missing the breakfast, but the owner spotted us putting on ourboots and brought us out fresh (still hot!) croissants and took the timeto make us fresh coffee before we left. The entire place was incredible.

Review 16:Good family run hotel all very friendly and good atmosphere. Responsef very well to a bit of a flooding emergency we had in a bathroom all done in a good humoured way. The location is fantastic with great views up two valleys and well off the main road so no traffic noise.

Review 17:Furniture seems to date from the 70s.

Review 18:Beautiful location, overlooking the Val Ferret. Friendly staff. Good food. Old villa, new elevator. Pretty (if small) balconies.

Review 19:I could not get my tv working and as it was late i did not call for help so my own fault. But worth checking the tv before it gets late! Bathroom and furnishings had a tired feel - probably could benefit from some new fittings etc in the near future.

Review 58:Friendly staff who made you feel welcome. Good location near to the towncentre, bus stop and the Tour de Mont Blanc. Nice restaurant.

Review 59:Was indeed a splendid place to stay! Built in the 1930's, this building would certainly have been the grand dame in her day. The hotel staff were friendly, and we loved the olde worlde charm. The rooms were spacious and had nice chairs for taking in the views. The set menu for dinner was good value. They happily accommodated our vegetarian request. Traditional French fare. Recommend to eat in the hotel dining room, because the walk into town does not reward you with many dining options.

Review 60:Decor and place a little dated
