Review 1：The neighborhood was noisy at all hours of the night. The hotel is surrounded by casinos and people would be out in the street from midnight until 7am talking loudly, shouting, yelling, and drinking. The police were called a few times. From what we could gather by talking to neighboring businesses, this was a common occurrence.

Review 2：The hotel is lovely, we stayed in the junior suite and had plenty of room. The staff was helpful and accommodating. On site parking was easy to use. The breakfast was great as well, and the location made it easy to walk to the harbor or drive to the beach.

Review 3：The breakfast is too expensive for what it is. Last year the buffet was better. But the "breakfast guy" was very friendly.

Review 4：This was my 2nd time in this hotel. The rooms seem to have been reconstructed - it looked nice but I did not find it particularly practical. However, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Review 5：Simple, good, local hotel, reasonably priced. Close to the ferries at Alte Liebe. Not its fault the Heligoland trip was cancelled due to high winds. Fab local maritime museum, '10 degrees strength'. Bahnhof clocks not working.

Review 6：WiFi does not work in all the hotel as advertised. When we first toldthe guy in the reception (Christian Kahl) that WiFi was not working inour room, he simply answered: "What do you want me to do?".After some discussion, he started yelling at us and saying the hoteldoes not have to provide WiFi because it's free, which is totallyabsurd, afterall, the hotel advertises it has WiFi in the whole placeand its free. We were supposed to stay there for two nights, the morningafter the first night we just talked to the manager and she refunded usfor the second night, we would not stay after we've been treatedlike idiots who had no right to complain. If you want a respectfultreatment with people ready to help you when you need, go anywhere butthis hotel.

Review 27：Simple but good accommodation. Reception closes early but good system to get your key. Handy for the town—bric a brac shops nearby—and convenient for the catamaran on Alte Liebe.

Review 28：I booked this hotel online for the night of 17 June. I was on Helgolandat the time and was hoping the ferry would take my friend and myselfplus our bicycles to Cuxhaven. Unfortunately we had to delay ourcrossing until 18 July. I was unable to access the internet again so Iphoned Hotel Stadt and explained the situation to them. My phone callwas 1330 hours on the 17 June plenty of time for the reservation to becancelled. The lady on the reception at the Hotel said that it was okfor my cancellation and she would book our room for the 18 June instead.She explained that we would have to pay a little more because an economyroom was not available. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informedto my horror that we had to pay for both nights, despite the fact thatthe day before we were told we would not. Perhaps you could assist me inthis matter please.

Review 30：Efficient and informative reception. Advice on how to get to places in town. Offer of parking facilities at competitive price even after I had checked out (I was leaving my car in town while I spent 3 nights on car-free island).

Review 33：It was central to my needs as I was working on my sailing boat. Near to supermarket, The Washing Centre and restaurants. The room had all I needed with space and warmth. I liked the man in the restaurant and the girls on reception spoke good English and were frienldly and helpful. Great shower. Great breakfast choice.
