Reviews for Jugendherberge-Berlin-International

Review 1:I was a bit disappointed that the WIFI didn't work in my upstairs room which actually forced me to go down to the lobby bar and mingle with other guests while drinking a welcome glass of wine.

Review 2:The hostel is close to the city centre - at least one of the centres - and has everything a cost-conscious traveller could want. The food was basic but good and they even provided gluten- and dairy-free food for my intolerances.

Review 3:The facilities and furniture sure had seen a better time, they are quite well worn. The cupboard door wouldn't fit into the frame unless lifted up while locking, and the bed made squeaky noises whenever I turned, audible in the whole room. There is only one power outlet in the dorm room of 4 beds, unlike some of the other Jugendherberge where power outlet is provided in each individual bed.

Review 4:Located at a district with easy access to Postdam Plaz, where all the city's liveliness is.

Review 5:not even a single cup in the room, and no towels for shower. we should be notified to bring along basic items that we need before we checked in.

Review 6:breakfast is marvellous. dinner is also good and value for money.

Review 7:You must be a member of hostel then you could live, otherwise you need to buy a stamp which cost 3 euro.

Review 8:Very big hotel and the room is spacious and clean and the shared bathroom at each floor is very clean as well. Each one will also have a wardrobe and they also give you the key, so it is very safe to keep stuff there. Very nice breakfast and lots of choices. And surrounding is very safe.

Review 9:The wifi didn't function as i was told but never the less the Staff are very friendly and welcoming

Review 10:The staff are very freindly and welcoming and treat the customer like me as a king. I must say they are the best so far from all the hostels i have stayed in.

Review 11:It's not new, it's not amazing, but very clean and what can you expect paying this little?

Review 12:Great and cheap place in the heart of Berlin. Big free parking and delicious food. Very clean. I strongly recommend it!

Review 13:When I arrived here, the staff told me my name and Japanese word "Arigato- gozaimasu". It means "thank you so much". I felt relieved because it was my fast time to stay in youth hostel :)

Review 14:Helpful staff, nice location, great breakfast. I fully enjoyed my stay!!!!

Review 15:rooms not very clean

Review 16:great location. buffet breakfast.

Review 17:The shared bathrooms weren't that nice. The water in the shower was either hot or cold, but it was very difficult to regulate it to a warm/comfortable temperature. also, I was begging for a lamp or light by my bed, so that I didn't have to wake up the other 5 people in my room when I came in late.

Review 18:The lobby was always bustling and people were around to meet and associate with. I also liked that the hostel was right on the U bahn lines, and right around the corner from the street car line - that made getting around a lot easier!!

Review 19:In the bathroom on the 1st floor it feels a little bit cold and windy.

Review 20:I really like the time that I spent in this hostel. The location is very convenient and close to the historical center of Berlin. So You can go by foot for sightseeng. Especially I would like to mention the great breakfast which is so useful for a traveler! =)

Review 21:Some pillows inside my room are very much trashed and good pillow is usually the guarantee of good sleeping, which is not the reality.

Review 22:Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Price is incredibly low. Other than that, the breakfast and dinner are quite nice.

Review 23:The thing I didn't like was that almost all showers were with coldand slightly warm water. But two most inconvenient and uncomfortableones were able to provide me with hot water. Also it's a little bitcold in the bathroom.

Review 24:Almost everything!Location (although 10-15min),accomodation,BREAKFAST!!! It was rather clean and comfortable!

Review 25:Bathroom should be improved

Review 26:Breakfast and dinner are nice.
