Review 1：Room was very cold during our stay, no matter how hard we tried to adjust the heating. Also, we experienced some problems with water pressure as water periodically disappeared (we were staying at 5th floor).

Review 7：Not really convenient to a tram line that runs into the old city, where tourists want to go. Walking a few blocks to Bischofsbrucke yields excellent tram service.

Review 9：- Floor 5 is used by cleaners as a base in the morning, as well as for guest rooms. We were woken at 6am by the very loud cleaner team having shouted conversations at the top of their voices right outside our door. - The apartment / family room [#501] is described on booking.com as 'two bedrooms and a living room'. It is not. It is one large room with two beds and a table in it, zero privacy. - The room is described as having two double beds, it does not, it contains one double bed and a pair of uncomfortable single beds pushed together. - The room contains no facilities for tea/coffee making or a fridge for drinks. I understand this was not promised or stated in the room description however this is very standard room equipment to include for a hotel.

Review 12：Our room was so spacious, clean and beautiful. The Location was perfect. It directly had tram access to city center and also hauptbahnhof (central train station). The WiFi was so strong. The most important thing was the **PRICE** which was really good. I strongly recommend the hotel.

Review 13：Online it says that there is parking nearby. Parking is public parking. If the parking does not belong to you, please do not advertise that you have parking availabilities. It's misleading.

Review 14：The hotel had a great location close to all the hip restaurants and cafes. Free parking was very easy to find and the room was very nice for the price.

Review 15：There is no "public parking available on site" as listed! There is some public street parking outside, but it is subject to availability and was full when we arrived. Instead, we were directed to a parking garage near the train station which is a 15 min walk on a poorly lit street. Reception quoted some small print to avoid being held accountable for the "misunderstanding" but I booked this place expecting parking so that was pretty uncool.

Review 18：Hotel room was spacious and clean. The location is very good, just 15 min. on foot from the city center. Neustadt is a nice district and you have to feel Friday`s afternoon there! You can also rent a bike there, which is the best way to see the city.

Review 19：Room was not clean (hair in the bathroom, an old dried childrens underwear behind one of the heating radiators), carpets very worn, especially in the staircase (mind your step!). The free WiFi is advertised as 'High-Speed' but is far from it, plus, there is only 1 device per person free.

Review 57：kitchen sevices closed before 10pm in a contrary to what is advertised. There should be a late meal option for hotel patron rather than to force them walk around late at night with small kids who are just hungry. airconditioning unit just above the bed feels scary to sleep under.

Review 59：Our room was kind of hidden away as the hotel seems to grow through neighbor buildings. We had to catch a elevator, go through a little maze of corridors, climb one flight of stairs to get to the room. That would be a deal breaker if we knew, as we had a lot of luggage. Parking is not easy, streets around really crowded.

Review 64：The Trip by Wyndham was surprisingly tricky to find on foot, as the road it's located on is fairly long, but we got there! The exterior of the hotel is just beautiful, in an old townhouse, and the interior is just as nice. We had a brief wobble at the beginning when they couldn't find our booking but that was resolved very quickly. Our room was lovely and the staff were very helpful indeed. To get into Dresden itself requires a tram ride (or a walk and a tram ride, as we had when the tram line broke down!) which is easy enough.

Review 66：There were many public car parking spaces outside the hotel free of charge. Location of hotel was not near the old town but if one is fit it can be reached on foot in 20 to 30'; otherwise there is a tram stop about a 5' walk away. Location wasn't nice (rather run down) but there were many good restaurants in the area. Often, places look uninvitingly from outside but are great inside.

Unfortunately, for our triple I had to listen to my teen complain about how stinky the room was and how he couldn't breathe in it because it is used on other nights as a smoking room. When I asked front desk, evening reception said there was nothing she could do, that their clientele often smokes.

On a quiet street and despite being 3 kms from the city centre a tram stop is only 5 mins walk away which run very late. Free on street parking available in Friedensstraße which is a quiet side just around the corner. I used this street so can confirm it is available ( July 12 2014)
