Review 1：First of all, the guy who is responsible for the customers is very rude with people who do not speak German,2)there is no warm water,3)the internet connection doesnt work,4)there is no refrigerator, 5)I got stunged by bedbugs,5)the cleaning lady comes whenever she likes,6)there is a lack of soundproofing and you can hear everything from people that are staying to other rooms

Review 2：I liked nothing at all!!!The worst experience i ve ever had in my life.

Review 3：Person on the phone was very unfriendly, told he couldn't guarantee that I could check in at the late evening, treated me like I was stupid since my german is not good, (his english probably worse). I asked if I could cancel. In the end I decided not to go, since I was not sure if I could go. conclusion: employee on phone send me away.

Review 5：I had to pay cash to the owner of the restaurant at the ground floor. I asked for a receipt. I did not get any receipt but a post it where he wrote the amount I paid and "okkei". It is quite noisy but well located.

Review 6：The hostel has no reception. You need to call a phone number. A very kind lady answers and gives you two codes. One for the main door and one for your room. The shared bathroom is clean.

Review 7：It is horrible and i can't understand how booking.com can put this kind of hotel offer in his website. There is no reception, it's kind of "pension" but this must not be a probleme of non comfort for the costumer. I reserved for 2 nights and i didn't stay. I arrived and I called the owner on the number written on the door. He asked me to give the phone to the owner of the kebab restaurant in the building. This man told me that there is no relation between GZ owner and them. After 20 min of waiting and several calls with the GZ owner, the restaurant owner gave me the code of the entrance and on for my room. The building is horrible and it is kind of "prostetut" place. I don't recommand GZ to anyone and hope that booking.com remove it as an option.

Review 8：NOTHING !!!!

Review 9：No reception. Called the landlord 6 or 8 times, but never kept agreement to show up to register or check out. Never saw him! Willing to pay for room, but he was totally unavailable. Bed comfortable but got serious itchy bites lasting four days so far; so avoid this place until owner gets his act together. He forgot we were coming and only the restaurant staff helped us to get into the room.

Review 10：Price, Size of room.

Review 11：The owner speaks only german and we had trouble to comunicate with him. So we weren't able to get the wifi. In addition there is no parking place and the room+bathroom were dirty. Shared bathroom is one for about 10 people and the toilet is inside so there was a line in the morning. We also had trouble with the door locker of our room.

Review 13：The Booking.com website says "entry through the snack bar". I found the people in the snack bar rather unfriendly and they directed me to a door around the corner. There is a notice on the door of the snack bar telling you to ring the manager - you then have to wait for him to come and let you in. In the end another guy who worked there let me in and helped me with my cases (thank you). The manager came to my room later to check I had paid. The weird thing is that there appeared to be no reception - when I left I just walked out which felt quite strange; I would have liked to have checked out properly.

Review 14：The location was very central, the room was nice - could have done with a little dusting but otherwise I had everything I needed, staff were friendly (though had little / no English).

Review 15：Without a service desk, I need to call the owner to check in. Staff will knock at night to ask for payment. Staff's English is not very good

Review 17：I got to the Hostel just to be told that they are overbooked. Owner/staff I talked to was not very polite. Next door was a (expensive) Hotel with a sign on the door saying "Rooms to let", maybe it is a plot to get rooms in the expensive Hotel. I did not stay there.

Review 18：We arrived 7.45pm, our arrival time was between 8-9pm. We called the owner and he said he couldn't meet us for an hour but would call back in 20mins. An hour and a half went by with no phone call or appearance. We called and called and eventually got through. He then told us to go to the takeaway place below the hotel and get the code for the hotel from the gentleman there (turned out this guy had nothing to do with the hotel but was frequently in the middle of sorting peoples room out, he was not happy about this as he had his own business to run and could barely speak english) We finally got our rooms but as we were leaving the same thing happened to a Polish family. The owner just refused to meet them and they had traveled all day and were very tired, with a baby too and children too. Overall terrible service and very poorly organised.

Review 20：Cleanliness. During all the time (5 days) never cleaned the bathroom, even though was shared with another 5 guests.

Review 27：I have made a reservation on 8th sep with booking.com reservation number 191593378. however, when I arrived hotel after long flight, the hotel told me there is NO room for me because they didn't receive any notice from booking.com. staff can't speak English well, this is the worst experience I ever have.

Review 28：Staff was not cooperative. When we reached there was water on the floor in the washroom which was there till the next day even after complaining. Only available option to approach the staff is to call them through mobile. There is no office.

Review 29：I just like the area around the hotel and one room out of two room was just bit more than okay.

Review 30：It's really noisy and the shared bathroom isn't very clean. Especially the noise is a problem. You can hear your neibhours and one floor down is a restaurant (döner), which make a lot of noise up to midnight and later.

Review 32：The hotel is in the middle of a renovation, and the rooms are newly appointed & nice. The shared bathroom was also very clean and newly remodeled. The staff at Imbiss downstairs were very friendly, as we arrived when the hotel staff were briefly out. When we did meet the man from the hotel, he was very accommodating and encouraged us to call him at any time day or night if we need anything. They went out of their way to store out bags for us during the day while we were hiking. The location is great - close to the Rhein Promenade, short walk to the Drachenbahn, and very advantageous location for hiking in the Siebengebirge.

Review 34：Its great for the price, like 30 mnts with tram to the city centre 2.4 euro cost trip one way, location is great for those who wants to relax on river view and see some old castles. i like it for the price as everything else that days was way 2 expensive so i want a bit far from the city and saved loads of money.
