Review 2：Family run Hotel, Restaurant and Bar. Very friendly and obliging staff. Restaurant food is traditional German and very good. The Hotel is ideal a One-Night stopover. Rooms quite basic, but clean. Nice walk to lake.
Review 3：Helpfulness of manager (owner?) who allowed us to park our car in her garage. She also gave us directions to the local beauty spot, a lake, with its bar and restaurants.
Review 4：We've stopped here 4 times over the last 2 years and have always received a warm welcome from Anja and Stefan. We travel on a motorbike and Hotel Haus Kornmarkt allow bikers to use there double garage to store the bike at night, they are also part of "biker willkommen". The guest house is located at the top of the hill, giving you a nice walk down to the lake on an evening to stretch your legs. On the way down there are a couple of restaurants to eat at including one with a water wheel which powers some entertaining "marionettes". However we tend to eat at Hotel Haus Kornmarkt as the prices are reasonable and the food is good. Down at the lake there is a nice cafe, large car park, water sports and is big enough to walk round for an hour or so. The wifi is compatible with Boingo roaming accounts.
Review 5：The difficulty of finding the location, it was very badly sign posted by road, not the hotel's fault, of course. Apart from that the area was pleasant.
Review 6：The friendliness of the staff and the guests. A slightly old fashioned feel which appealed to us.
Review 7：Extremely nice and friendly staff, very nice braekfast, quite big room and very comfortable bed. Wonderful, big garden,own playground, lovely for kids and dog as well. Dog was allowed to play in the garden without leash. We all enjoyed our stay!

Review 14：Very friendly staff, bar open at all hours, breakfast en restaurant very good. Home made marmelade by Anja! Garage parking for motorcycles. Value for money and location makes this hotel ideally suited for a trip to the Eifel.
Review 15：We arrived around midnight after repeated gridlock on a 700+ mile drive from Sienna on the hottest day of the year. The hosts were incredibly nice about it- even though they have young children. We really appreciated it.
Review 16：I booked a double room and ended up with 2 single beds, which were not very comfortable. 1 pillow per bed was not enough either. We were awoken on Sunday morning by the local church bells at 6am! OK, not the hotels fault but shortly after 6am, the owners came outside and were not talking but shouting at each other, watering plants, mopping up etc right outside our bedroom. We could also hear them shouting and banging pots and pans in the kitchen for the rest of the morning. Needless to say, we didn't sleep so well.
Review 17：It was in a reasonable location with easy walk to a local restaurant and the wonderful 'Biersdorf am see'. Plenty of parking space also and a decent breakfast in the morning. Free for dogs to stay!
