Review 1：They cancelled my reservation because they don't take amex, but Icontinued to get confirmations from Booking.com until my checkin. Thenraised my rate, even though I paid in Cash. Wifi was a bad deal, as youhad to buy it by the hour, and it was contiguous (I.E. by the clock, notusage) a horrible pricing model in today;s world. Owner had a "takeor or leave it" attitude.No shampoo or soap in the shower, had to use the liquid hand soap on sink...

Review 3：They say that the internet is free but you only have one hour. To gain access to the internet you have to have a German mobile number, otherwise no internet for you.
Review 4：Lots of hidden or extra costs e.g. parking, internet at 1.50 per hour etc. I just wish they gave a full price up front and not in the fineprint.

Review 19：The hotel owner was incredibly mean and unprofessional . We had a booking for a longer period and gave a large sum of money for this hotel. Since my team is periodically came and went , we had to alter some bookings . The owner is on all of our changes made problem and charged regardless of whether or not to be . We asked him to give us in writing which dates we have all reservations , he was very unfriendly and did not sending mail . In the evening of that day, I saw that he removed the money from my card even though we did not provide information to these rooms . Although booking is not to be any payment before arrival, but he had removed the money from the card almost one month ago . I think this is not at all professional, but it looks that he stealing money . We do not recommend this hotel because there is no real professional relationship with the client . You have to come in time for the key or pay 5 euros per person if you are late ? ? ? ? ? ? First day when I was coming in my room, in the room was already stay some people. Likely they are Germans and call him and solve the problem. Be sure to use the towels , because if you are a little more tainted , will be charged 10 euros. It happened to us . Although I was only this year in more than 77 hotels in 13 countries , this has not happened to me . I did not expect it to happen this relationship in Germany.
Review 20：1. Check in till 8 pm. Even if you call advance and get all entrance codes (i.e. the hotel has no additional costs) adds extra fees. 2. Dirty, worn and SMELLY. (Corridors and room no. 10) 3. The extremely small dining room has only 3-4 tables. Queuing for breakfast and only 1 lady is doing all serving, cleaning and administration. 4. Unable to give invoice according to your needs. I haven't told them in advance the billing address and after printing they couldn't change any detail. All in all, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Germany.

Review 24：The hotel check in time is upto 20:00. I arrived at 19:30. Still they charged me for late check in just because earlier I enquired about late check-in. When I arrived at the hotel no one was there and they have no proof that I arrived late. Still they did not believe me. They have forcefully withdrawn money from my credit card. The amount may be small but their behaviour towards the customer is very bad.

Review 26：Spacious clean room with good bed. not a luxury but does excellent for a stopover. Satellite TV in the room with wide choice of channels. Breakfast is budged and the late eaters there is only what is left, but adequate for the price

Review 29：Be aware: that they charge you an extra 5 euro person, if you arrivelater than 8 o'clock. They charge you to park in their littleparking space in front of the hotel, 4 euro. They charge you 5 euro ifyou want to use the internet. There are no one to let you in and even ifhad made an appointment to have breakfast earlier than 8 o'clockyou, (7.30), the breakfast wasnt´t ready till 8 o'clock.

Review 31：When we arrived at around 6 pm there was no one at reception. Afterfinding an intercom I pressed the button and someone answered. I askedif we could check in and was told rather curtly that "instructionswere provided in the email that was sent to me". When I said thatwe had been on the road all day and could not get email, the"Wizard of Oz" gave a snort and relented and gave me our roomnumber. Later, I hit the intercom again and asked if I could buy intothe Wi-Fi that was offered for 5 Euros per 24 hrs. I still can'tbelieve it but I was told that you can only sign up for internet at 10am! What kind of messed up hotel is this? When I booked the literatureonly stated that internet was available for €5/24h. It doesn'ttell you that you can only buy it at 10 am until after you book. I gotthe Wizard to come out of his hiding place and he gave me some storyabout a previous customer downloading bootleg movies and the Wizard gotin trouble. That's a sad story but it's not my problem! Had Iknown I was not going to be offered internet until 10 am the followingmorning I never would have booked. Basically, this hotel has no internetavailable and should not be allowed to advertise that they do.

Funny enoughthe same happened to another couple we heard complaining. Hidden chargeslike late check in, they close at 8pm which is ridiculous. Breakfastroom is tiny and they only serve it for one hour. There were familieswho had no tables available and missed breakfast. Again ridiculous.I've never seen anything like it. The low price doesn't justifythe hassle

Review 35：The day we arrived we had to call to know your room.They claimed a mail has been sent to us and were asking about this mail (that was claimed to have been sent the same day of our first day of staying!!.Mail has never been received.The second day of our stay,we hanged the thing on the door asking for the room to be cleaned up and maked up.Nothing done,not even the bin emptied.There was no shampoo on the room (no issue with that but at least if it has been announced,i would have taken along mine or bought one before arriving).No life on the neiboughhoud,very calm but if one needs a coup of coffee or a beer,it's a challange to find such a place.

Review 39：1/I didnt like that I was charged 5euros per person after 8pm check in, I did not see the reason why, even I called them 4 days before my arrival, that I will come after 8pm no body understood well english and they still charged. 2/we arrived around 8:45min pm we couldnt get to the hotel because we didnt have any code to enter, thanks god we met other clients who got the code to enter inside, otherwise we will be freezing outside, I didn´t mind paying the 5 euros but at least some body will wait for us to get us to hotel and assist us. 3/Once inside we took the luggage to the room mentioned in our email confirmation, we find a note to move to another room in different floor, the other room was freezing, the heating was off with open windows, so we were freezing the all night because it took time to heat the all room 4/ the last point is the breakfast very limited choice and poor.

Review 41：No one in the hotel at check in. Only knew about keys in room door from previous reviewers. The room was allocated in an email message which we were not able to access as we were travelling. We were later informed we were in the wrong room. Contacted staff for email access and wa advised that this could not be arranged until breakfast the following morning. Not acceptable especially when they charge or wi fi access Wi Fi still not working wich was a considerable inconvenience. Previous recent reiews also mentioned this and should have been rectified.
Review 42：Convenient location for our needs. We had our own transport and although there is a bus station nearby it is in a quiet location. Room was of a good standard andwas good value.
Review 43：Staff should not automatically charge the room onto your credit card -many people would prefer to pay cash (especially if travelling fromcountries with a different currency, as some credit cards are charging alot for exchange, etc).

We needed help with internet connection, but with great difficulty we could connect to the hotel owner. - WiFi was promised and I am sure it is usually working because the whole infrastructure was present. But on that particular day it was not working initially and after some (I think hot) discussion we could get it working. - The staff in morning didn't speak English.
Review 46：Everything was arranged exactly as you would wish. Spotless cleaning, nice rooms etc. They even arranged excellent weather on the day we visited :) I think it's a very good hotel for people who are travelling with their own vehicle. The 'instructions' on a paper were in German, a very easy remedy is to put an English version of the same.
