Review 1：Decor of the apartment was somewhat tired and in need of a refresh. Wifi worked poorly. Kitchen area was small and awkwardly designed.

Review 4：The appartement was ok with enough space for 3. The kitchnet is small and not so easy to access but we use it for small cooking so it was ok. There is enough supply for bathroom, bedroom and cooking for 3. The swimmingpool is really great and the view on the valley from the terrace is super.

Review 11：I didn't care for the location of parking our car. It was too far from our room and down a very steep hill. There was the opportunity to unload next to the room, but the hill had to be climbed rain or shine, in the dark... lots of potential for problems there.

Review 12：Location was beautiful and central to what we were doing. Price was excellent for the little apartment. View was spectacular. We had a meal in the bar/restaurant which was delicious. Everyone on staff we encountered spoke English, not a requirement for us to enjoy ourselves now, but it was nice.

Review 29：Because this was the "paintball weekend" they just don't seem to have pushed the boat out like before. Accommodation was not as spotlessly clean as it could have been and apartment seemed tired and in need of a refurbishment with worn carpets and furnishings. All a little bit tatty around the edges. In this day and age you'd expect a self-catering apartment to have a little more than a tiny kitchenette in a cupboard with just 2 hotplates and a tiny sink, not even a microwave. Free Wi-fi, almost impossible to get anything else than the welcome page unless you were about when there were no other guests in the building! For a premium price you expect decent standard, Dorint is slipping here. Having stared here before I will be definitely looking at other accommodation next time I visit the area.

Review 39：The "kitchen" comprised of 3 cupboards: one with dishes and pans, one with a dustbin, and the last one with 2 hotplates and a tiny sink perched on top of a fridge! The plug for the coffee machine or kettle was in between the sink and hot plates! Very difficult, if not impossible to use. Also highly dangerous unless extreme care observed! Also, I tried to book a massage on the last day, but due to the unhelpful and uncooperative woman in charge, I dropped the idea and spent more time in the pool instead (they obviously don't need the business!) Service in the "Marktplatzstube" was quite slow, but the staff were friendly. Wi-fi didn't always work. Matresses were too firm for my taste.

The kitchen configuration is entirely behind a wall closet and the sink and faucet reminded me of what I have seen in the concentration camp. The whole place needs a serious renovation and should not be in business.

Very nice and calm situation at the border of the lake and green hills. Perfect for children (play corner in restaurant, small swimming pool for children, bowling, tennis, squash,...). We stayed at the apartmenthotel (with nice view), five minutes walk from the restaurant in the hotel (path outside or through covered hallway with elevators; good for a digestive walk). Fifth time we've been there and always satisfied.

The sauna was closed so I could not look myself. The girl at the front desk went to look for it and gave it back to me before I left in the early morning. I was very impressed.

Review 59：Having to pay for most of the facilities, the parking and kitchen charge , paying for breakfast , the decor in the house was seriously dated and old fashioned, cleaning charge, having to pay for the logs for the fire , washing machine and tumble dryer was ridiculously miles away and hard to get to . We paid a lot of money to stay for 6nights and should have had more of the facilities and breakfasts for free. The shower curtain , light didn't work in the living room, window couldn't open in the dining room.

Swimming pool, bowling, indoor tenniscourt is very rare to find in a hotel, so this was a big plus! beautiful situation around the lake.

The Fine Print

In the period from 19 May - 22 May 2016 (Paintball Bitburg) a special deposit of EUR 500,00 per housing unit is required for the hotel rooms, holiday apartments and cottages. The deposit is charged 3 weeks before arrival from the credit card. If the housing unit is in order on the day of departure, the deposit will be refunded.
