Review 1：No bad experience except hotel is in a one way street so directions for access need to be very accurate. We wrongly relied on our satnav.

Review 2：We found the manageress very helpful. She helped out with guiding us to the garage where the satnav had failed. She also supplied extra pillows and gave very helpful advice re: evening meal venue. Our room was very nicely decorated and furnished, with a sunny aspect.

Review 3：In the real summer days could be a bit hot in the room as there is no air conditioning; no fridge in the room to have something cold. Room could be a bit tight in sizes (3,5m x6,5m) for two pers. even if it was a double room.

Review 4：Cleaness; service and staff very nice. Location of the guest house very close to Rhine, quiet area. Bed very wide (1,8x2,0m) and good .They have done cleaning of the room every day and towels were changed. Feel good when you come home after a long working day. Very good selection for breakfast in a very cosy room.

Review 7：the bad has rollers on the head side, and they are broken. so the head of the bad is lower than the foot side. only 3 private parking place. so you might have trouble in getting a spot if it is busy. ask before booking.

Review 9：The hotel is situated close to the main walking area of Königswinter (about 100m to the Rhine) and has a lot of shops and restaurants close by. The hotel itself is an old building but renovated from the inside and has retained a vintage appeal to it. The owner of the hotel was extremely helpful to answer to all our questions to provide anything we needed. The breaksfast buffet was basic as you would expect (wide selection of deli meats and cheeses, cereals, fruit salads and etc) but the quality of the items was exceptional. The Wifi coverage in the rooms was ok. The closeness to the main road to Cologne and Bonn and the walking distance of the railroad station just adds a big plus to this hotels rating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good nights sleep and a quiet weekend trip.

Review 29：We were travelling across Europe on our way to Croatia and had booked one nights stay at the Hotel Garni Haus Hindenburg. We arrived late in the afternoon, although the hotel does not look anything from the outside when you get to your room it was immaculately clean and comfortable with new furniture and bathroom fittings. The breakfast next morning was excellent with a variety of fruits, yoghurts,meats,cheeses and breads. There was also freshly made scambled and boiled eggs. We found Konigswinter and this hotel ideal for a stop on our journey.

First of all, I amreally very thankful to Manuela Schmitz, who was so helpful, friendlyand hospitable from the very beginning to the end of my stay. She wasready to help in every single request. She even offered me tastysandwitches when I arrived late in the eveing and was too tired to goto the restaurant. She and her colleague (unfortunatelly I don'tknow the name) always explained how to reach this or that destination,consulted about the schedules, etc. The room was neat and cosy. I likedthe view on the river and mountain in the walking area near the hotel.The location is good, coz next to the train station. The breakfast wasenjoyable. I do recommend this hotel to other travellers. I wish Icould have a chance to come again with my husband during summer andstay more. Thank you so much!

Review 37：Friendly welcome. We were given the suite at the top off the house with excellent views of the mountains. We were asked in advance if we could manage the 71 steps up to the room. Good breakfast.

Review 39：This is my 3rd time i stayed in this Hotel. It is perefect, really. 100% clean, rooms are nice, bathroom is modern and new. Staff is friendly, speaking english. Breakfast is perfect, there is nothing missing. Lady boss is friendly. It has nice terrace on roof where you can relax. Perfect location if you wanna stay in Cologne or Koelnmesse as you can reach train station in Konigswinter in 4 minutes and than you go half hour to Cologne. There are trains passing through Konigswinter every 30 minutes which go to Cologne or Koelnmesse.
