Reviews for Clarion Collection Hotel Frankfurt City Center
Review 1:Although it was in the red light district, the hotel itself was very clean & tidy and the staff were great. The location was 10 min walk from the main train station/main centre of frankfurt.
Review 2:The service of the staff was exceptional and very helpful with the onward travel arrangements. I was upgraded to a business room which was also very well received.
Review 3:Is located in the Red Light District, so can be a little off putting when walk back to the hotel later in the evening
Review 4:Only a block from the restaurant strip (Keonig Str) and very close to the Train Station. Car parkinf (for a fee) next door.
Review 5:At the check-in, I felt a staff was a little bit rude and unattended. Maybe he was just as good for western hotels. You know what I mean if it is compared with eastern hotels like in Thailand or Japan. The morning staff at the check out was ok.
Review 6:The room was nice with catchy design. Close to main station.
Review 7:red light neighbourhood and a lot of noise at night , happily the windows are well isolated but since it was hot I wanted to sleep with the windows open ..; I don t like to put on the airco
Review 8:vicinity to the station was why I chose this hotel
Review 9:Air conditioning wasn't working, but was throwing out heat in the middle of summer. Front desk didn't know what to do, and expected me to wait until the morning!!!
Review 10:Stayed here a few times. Great location next to Hauptbahnhoff, though in the middle of the Red Light District. Rooms tiny but comfortable.
Review 11:the ambient enviroment is not suitable for young guys
Review 12:the location is good, near to the railstation,it is convenient . but I don't like the ambient enviroment.
Review 13:The flooring/carpeting is kind of funky, More like a mat with lots of holes for dirt to collect. Had a room where the air conditioning didn't work and blowing hot air. The front desk didn't know what to do and expected me to sweat to death. Luckily it was a finicky thermostat. Increasing by 2 degrees goes from cold to heat! No help from the staff though.
Review 14:Bed was quite comfortable. Location was convenient next to the hauptbahnhof and an easy walk to the Zeil.
Review 15:Location very close to the train station. Bkeakfast has varieties & plentiful. Room as advertised and noise sound proof. Only in the red light zone. Overall we had a great stay.
Review 16:Located on the street among of bordels. Be ready to see a lot of addicts in the evening and night time on the street. There was a night club right in front of our window and we heard music even with closed window. Hotel is good to stay for one or two nights.
Review 17:Clean room, kind staff, you can leave your baggage after check-out for free. Good location if you are arriving late night by the train. 5 minutes by walk from the city train station. Two stations away by metro from Frankfurt airport. (apx. 15 minutes ride). Close to the city center - 10-15 minutes walk.
Review 18:No refrigerator.
Review 19:Next to train station. Air conditioned room. Though it is at the border of the red light district, alternative route to the hotel is possible.
Review 20:Wifi in my room (512) was so bad, the room was so far from the routerand I had sometimes to sit in the toilet to get a better connection(which was still bad). Please in the future, consider putting more thanone router in the floor. Wifi at night are important.I was there for a weekend, and my days were full, i leave so early and come back so late so i can't find any convenient store where i can buy my usual stuff. I didn't have a razor with me and i am used to hotel offerering a simple razor in their rooms. This hotel didn't, it bothered me a little. The location is great since it's near to the train station BUT i was shocked of what's happening in the street. Prostitutes inns are every few meters, and if u are there alone, u are afraid sometimes since u don't know if u will get robbed cz as everyone knows, where there is prostitution, there's a mafia behind it. I found it a little strange to have all this in a street so close ot the main station. This is a problem of the city not the hotel.
Review 21:It's so close to the main train station. Rooms are clean andconfortable. Very good experience in general.
Review 22:The hotel is in a very noisy area.
Review 23:I arrived in Frankfurt on an early morning flight and really appreciated getting an early check in. The room was clean and well equipped. Very convenient for the train station.
Review 24:Other things were bad. Rooms were really very small. If you are claustrophobic person you can not stay there. Wifi was very bad, area is unsafetly.
Review 25:Only the staff were good. they were friendly and helpful
Review 26:The very very small room, but good for a night.
Review 27:Very clean and good location next to train station, just in the a lively part of the city, not for kid but not that bad at all. The comfort of the bed.
Review 28:The WiFi is almost unable to use. It won't resist more than two minutes. Always disturbed on and off.
Review 29:The comfy design like charging by USB connector.
Review 30:The room is very small and the location is rough at night.
Review 31:The modern facilities in the room. Excellent smart TV. USB facilities throughout. Good aircon and comfortable bed. No noise. Proximity to the HBF.
Review 32:size of rooms is "small" and i mean small :-) havent tried the single room but the double was already nothing for claustrophobic people
Review 33:1. This area is not so safe especially for solo girl. At night, there are many drunk guys and unfriendly people hanging out on the street near the hotel.2. The bathroom smells not so good maybe because it's too small.
Review 34:Cool facilities, excellent staff and good location, just next to the train station and not far from the center.
Review 35:Really close to the "sex street" with strange people on the streets.
Review 36:We had a very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean room with free and really good coffee.
Review 37:Into the red zone then you can be afraid of the people but I didn't have any problem. In fact the good part is that area is plenty of restaurants.
Review 38:The location was one block to the train station. The staff was kind and helpful. Everything clean.
Review 39:It's red light district but if staying without family it's totally fine and safe The very small wash basin
Review 40:The good wifi and easy access to it The location The decent size of rooms The light effects in the room International Channels on TV
Review 41:slow elevator; room not clean as expected, small room (not able to open the luggage). dru g addicted all around the hotel; most TV programmes not working
Review 42:close to the station
Review 43:Awful Mosaic decoration in public areas. Slightly dodgy area Breakfast
Review 44:Free Wifi Very modern rooms Rooms clean 2 min walk to main train station 3 stops on tram to Messe Frankfurt Helpful English speaking staff
Review 45:It was located in red light district, but was clean and safe
Review 46:The hotel was 1 block from the train station and 1 block from various good restaurants, BUT you're also located at the corner of red light district. We found it clean all around. It did not feel like we were unsafe walking around even though there's sex shops on the block. The rooms were small but all we needed was a place to sleep. Our also had a nice cardio gym with sauna.
Review 47:The hotel is terrible located, the breakfest is terrible, the room was dirty as well as the bathroom. It's not 4 stars. I had a problem with a light which I could not turn off. Terrible choice!!! Definitely not worth while.
Review 48:Unfortunately location is right in the middle of the red light district which for single woman traveler is not too comfortable. Additionally it's quite loud in the night of course.
Review 49:Hotel itself very nice with modern rooms and a big bathroom.
Review 50:Within the red light district; Wifi doesn't support guests enough, so we couldn't connect; Strange people (guests?) in the hotel reception.
Review 51:Close to central train station.
Review 52:Smoking in the bar - I thought that was illegal? Bad area.Too close to the strip clubs with aggressive people physically stopping you and trying to get you in. Drunks, homeless and drug users outside on the pavement.
Review 53:Room was small but functional. Breakfast was OK. Staff really good.
Review 54:Its in the red light destrict, everyday had to walk between drug addictsand night girls, and the lights of the night clubs penetrate thecurtains ! Coudn't sleep. Nit recomended for family with kids. Oreven a Family
Review 55:The price was very cheap compared to the facilities you get. Best for asolo male traveller who is searching for a good bed and facilities foran excellent price.
Review 56:It's located in crowded area, noisy is too big
Review 57:very convenient to reach main train station, you can walk or subway to popular places nearby in Frankfurt.
Review 58:Perhaps I didn't spend enough time in the hotel to see any imperfection. It was a nice budget hotel.
Review 59:The closeness to the HBF and the city center. The room although perhaps small, had a huge bed, a good selection of TV channels, and was overall very confortable.
Review 60:I really have nothing positive to say. Even though the place is nicely done, and the personnel is really trying to do its best to make up for the inconveniences, during the two nights I spent there there were problems with wifi, airco and warm water. To make things worst, the hotel is located in the noisiest street ever: I had loud music below my window during the entire night. It might be a convenient hotel for tourists, but definitely not for business, and surely it is no 4 stars.
Review 61:coffee machine and iron & board in the room. The room would be comfortable, unfortunately the circumstances ruin it.
Review 62:Room and bathroom a bit small but it was comfortable and well set out.
Review 63:Room quality and atmosphere provided by the special lighting. Upgraded by friendly staff. Close to Central station.
Review 64:Located in red light district opposite sex city. Incredibly small room, no room to even lay suitcase on floor. Fancy blue light around a false wall that could not be switched off, even by staff so had to sleep in a lighted room with eerie blue glow. Further from rail station than advertised. No breakfast included. Left after one night and got nice room across the road from station for same price but including breakfast and mini bar. Definitely avoid, worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Review 65:It was clean
Review 66:Room is tight. No space to move around.Bath room is extremely tight. It is unthinkable.I never imagined it will be as tiny as it is.
Review 67:Accessibility to every corner of the city.
Review 68:The immediate area has many sex shops and aggressive hosts to try to get you in. The fitness room was poor (one treadmill, one bike, one rowing machine). But at least they had that. No pool; sauna was a bit of a hassle to arrange, so we did not use it.
Review 69:Easy walk from main train station. Excellent food and shopping nearby. Very friendly staff - helped arrange viewing of World Cup. Excellent price and quality of the room for the money.
Review 70:Renovation noises. Very bad WiFi service. Noisy street and near the "Red Light District", Night time fear of going out. Breakfast is below average for 4 star hotel. Room Air Con is very poor. Overall, over-rated for a 4 star hotel, it should be more like 3.
Review 71:Staff are helpful. Location near the station.
Review 72:Casual attitude of reception girl. Television would not work in the room. Hotel in very poor area. An attempt was made to pick my pocket right outside the hotel entrance.
Review 73:Good bathroom and large bed. Close to Hauptbahnhof.
Review 74:I didnt like the room with the low ceiling inside
Review 75:The heater was making a lot of noise so for many times i had to wake up and turn it off
Review 76:The breakfast is expensive but very good
Review 77:Heating system sucks .... We were cold during our entire stay
Review 78:The hotel located in a dangerous neighborhood and the public parking lot was a bit far from the hotel
Review 79:Clean room and facilities
Review 80:Noisy, small rooms.

Review 88:Catastrofa mic si prost
Review 89:Breakfast if quite por and too expensive. They could improve it...
Review 90:na
Review 91:Luminous lights refrigerator 30cm from bed that makes it difficult to sleep
Review 92:Close to train station Clean rooms
Review 93:No bedding for third bed, in red light district, hotel smelled of stale smoke. "4 stars" rating is a complete joke.
Review 94:The location.the hotel is located very close to the train station that is 20 minutes away from the airport. Also close to the city centre.
Review 95:Red light district in frankfurt, very noisy during the whole night. Dont stay there if u wanna have a quiet night
Review 96:AC was not very effective.

Review 122:Was a bit small. The in room vending machine didn't work
Review 123:Close to the Red Light district Friendly staff The funky neon lights in the room,
Review 124:If you happen to stay over the weekend it gets very noisy on the streets. Unfortunately the windows aren't soundproof enough.
Review 125:good location, walking distance to museum island. Big spacious room is very clean. Price is good value compared to quality. Wifi is ok
Review 126:Near the central station and old town Accomodation very clean and new furniture
Review 127:Location of the hotel is extremly bad, naext to many puffs.
