Review 2：First of all let's start by commending on the absolute beauty of this village. Svoboda nad Upou is a beatiful place. We booked there by coincidence because accomodations in Trutnov were fully booked and this was our original destination. We were so pleasantly surprised that on a future time maybe we visit Svoboda instead :) This small hotel is located very conveniently 5 minutes from the train/bus station. Owner does not speak English but does everything to help you. Overall he is very kind. Toilet flush was broken and he fixed it immediately. Room was spatious, beds very comfortable, bathroom with shower and hot water. Very clean. Hair dryer not provided but luckily I had my own. Cannot speak for breakfast because we did not have it there, spent all of our day in Trutnov. On Saturday the restaurant was packed however so food ought to be good :) Perfect place for a family, quiet, safe and very pittoresque. For the money we paid it was more than excellent. This place must be even nicer in the winter time.

Review 3：The rooms in this hotel look very nasty. Leaking windows, fungus on the walls, stinky and dirty carpets made our stay in this hotel a nightmare.
