Review 1：We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and the wifi was unstable at the 1st night.

Review 2：The staff is nice and recommended a really good restaurant to us for dinner. It is great to have jacuzzi in the Spa. The breakfast is good.

Review 3：What we didn't like: No crib. We requested a crib for our baby through Booking.com when we reserved the room, and the crib was noted on our reservation. However, when we checked in we were told (rather unapologetically) that the hotel did not have a crib for us to use. This drastically negatively affected our stay to the point where we almost decided to end our trip early. I'm pretty sure our neighbors on the floor got as little sleep as we did with as much as the baby cried. I think it would be pretty cheap and easy for this hotel to invest 100 euro in a folding crib and I am not sure why they haven't done so. As a frequent traveler with a young family, this is one area where a hotel cannot be unreliable. Short breakfast hours. Breakfast is only offered from 0730 to 0930. Considering that we are on holiday, breakfast until at least 1000 would be very much better.

Review 4：What we liked: The location: just down the hill from downtown Berchtesgaden within easy walking distance of everything. There is a nice fenced playground just across the parking lot from the hotel reception. The parking: free and easy. The facilities: our room was spacious and well appointed. There was a spa and sauna (even though we didn't get to use them due to the shortness of our stay). Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable.

Review 5：There is only one power socket which was far from enough for us. There is a uphill path from Hbf to hotel which will be challenging for people with large luggage and push chairs. The price was a bit high but I understand it is the case for such tourist attractions.

Review 9：Service quality. If you do not order a dinner from your hotel, you should wait until yesterday dinner eaters finish his breakfast because of reserved tables. When they come and when they start to eat is unknown. We saw it first time in our holiday experience visited hotels in 93 countries.

Review 17：We had a reservation but when we arrived they said that earlier they got a group which was bigger than expected and therefore that they did not have a room for us. They gave us an apartment which belonged to the neighbour house. It was a cellar and the conditions let a lot to desire in my opinion. We took it because we did not have any other option.

Review 19：The breakfast hours were better suited to the staff getting a good night's rest than the needs of the guests. At no time did I get the feeling that our needs were of interest to the staff in general at check in and throughout the stay.

Review 28：Staff warned wifi was not the best in the rooms and it was poor. The business room had the best signal strength, but I still was kicked off a few times.

Review 29：The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My room had a direct view of the Eagle's Nest and the balcony was nice to walk onto. Breakfast had the best scrambled eggs I have had in Germany, nice layout. Rooms were cleaned very well. private bath was new and modern, heater worked well. Location just a short walk from the train station. The uphill walk may bother some older guests. Overall a good stay.

Review 30：The room and hallways were a bit dated but the bathroom was new with a good shower. I had a single and the room was the smallest I ever stayed in. But it was ok since I wasn't at the hotel much. The breakfast was the best. They have such a big spread of food each morning which is included. Internet is good in the areas it works (1st floor) - they don't claim it works in rooms but I was on 4th floor and could do texting over wifi but not much else.

Review 31：On the day of check in, the staff notified us that their hotel is full book by a tour. But I have booked the rooms couple months ago. We got no choice where ApinaRos transfer us to other hotel without notified us earlier.

Review 75：I had a problem similar to other reviewers here. I booked a family room so my children would have bunk beds. I was told I did not indicate there would be a total of three people, so I was "upgraded" to a usual double-room, even though the "upgraded" room cost less than what I booked. My room was not cleaned the first day because the desk staff failed to tell me I needed to leave the key at the front desk so they could unlock my room. The next day, I only had two towels, and after the room was cleaned, only one towel was left. After asking for one more towel, they again left me with a single towel the following day. Breakfast was disorganized; all four mornings I had to ask where we were to sit and they had to hunt for a space. The WiFi is only in the lobby, but I was told it closed around 9:00/9:30 at night and I had to leave the area. The electrical outlets are too far from the beds, so I was unable to recharge my phone/tablet while using it. The pool was out of service. The parking lot was overly crowded and I had to park in a city lot three of our four nights. Two families came in when I was in the lobby and their reservations were messed up (hotel claimed they did not have them) and they were sent away. If the hotel staff had their act together, it would be a nice hotel to stay at, but there were just too many little problems for me to want to stay here again.

Did not have to cross the main street. 5 minute walk from the train station. Can see the hotel from there. Large room. Family room had a separate room with bunk bed for children. Our 3 fit in the beds, and a king size bed in main room. Very spacious for table/chairs, patio/balcony, large bathroom.

Review 82：A couple of things I would suggest - Firstly, the shower in the room could do with updating. Worked fine, but looks old & uninviting. Secondly, reception is not 24 hour. This means that nobody is around during the night should there be a problem & also the bar/sitting area closes at the same time. Felt like a bit of a curfew! Like I say, only a couple of things, otherwise this is a great place to stay!
