Review 1：The minibar was a bit noisy.

Review 2：Quiet, well equipped room. Lunch packet was requested one day instead of breakfast, it was of generous quantity and superb quality.

Review 3：WiFi on the 4th floor wasn't available. Towels was hard as rock.

Review 4：Room was perfect, bathroom also great with big bath. Internet cable available. Location perfect.

Review 5：Upon arrival we were reguested to pay additional charge for a dog. Of course that is not big amount of money (100 krones) but I would prefer to know it in advance.

Review 6：Staff and facilities were great, I stayed in a tourist room and it was very good value for money. The hotel is in a central location and has some lovely facilities that, sadly, I had no time to try.....next time perhaps.

Review 7：Breakfast was terrible ,no big deal as around the corner near the tower you can get breakfast for about 2 pounds . wifi not working in the rooms, they should sort that out

Hotel not open , so continued to call having left hotel and at there expense phoned and confirmed on going hotel booking . Superb service - also provided map very help full .

Review 11：Very small twin room in the attic. Hotel wanted to upgrade us to larger double room but only the attic rooms had aircon. It was hot so we stayed with the attic room.

Review 12：Good aircon, reasonable minibar, reasonable breakfast. Excellent value for money. Staff were helpful although only one person spoke any English.

Review 13：The air compressor from downstairs (lobby) is a bit noisy. It is hot in the summer so we have to keep windows opened.

Review 15：I was in town for the Colours of Ostrava music festival. During this event, the rooms get substantially more expensive. That;s all right, but since some of the concerts finish after 3am, the hotel should be serving breakfast longer -- until noon rather than 10am.

Review 22：I like the rooms ,the kitchen and bathroom its outside but is very clean and very big! Hotel is 5 min. from town halle, 7 min. from masarykovo namesti, 3 min. from Stodolni street and to stops with tram from mall "Forum Karolina".

Review 23：Friendly staff. All in all good value for money. For car travellers: there is a protected parking area. Though the passage leading to it is pretty narrow. If you leave your car outside you may find it with broken windows. Beware and use parking. Breakfast is ... well, you won't die from hunger but adjust your expectations to the minimum. I used russiaplace app to find some nice cafes in the vicinity. If you show that app you get a discount but you have to know russian.

Review 25：First of all we had no parking place, but all parking place in the hotel were free the whole stay! Because we didnt reserver up forehand they couldnt give us a place. We needed a garage 1km away! The room was very old and the beds cranky, their was carpet on the floor with lots of stains, and the entrance was very far away from the lobby through various tunnels. The breakfast was very poor and a lot of old stuff and a old coffeemachine whereas the espressomaker was not for breakfast people, only dinner guests!! Really bad place.

Review 27：All I have mentioned before is totally smashed up by the most important and most unpleasant experience - We were not expected when we arrived. Why? Because staff on the reception desk does not use to any IT system, only a paper where the bookings were written. Like in the Middle Ages! They did not have any other room for us, only single-room - but we arrived as a couple! Cold shower in the bathroom, not competent people at the receptionist's desk... If you go there, so just only for a meal... :(

Review 29：Booking was wrong - we booked room for two adults with two older children but got for three person and bed for small baby with toys. Also parking reservation went wrong - asked for place for two cars but got only for one. Gate to parking is very narrow, be careful with bigger cars.

Review 31：The hotel is divided in two part. The new one is OK. The other one is old and uncomfortable. In the morning a disgusting smell of food enters in the room. So be careful: choose the room in the new part of the hotel.

Review 38：Stayed for 2 nights in a Twin Room with shared bathroom. It was basically like an apartment, there were 3 other bedrooms on the same floor as us with a kitchen area and the shared bathroom. Bedroom was very spacious and beds were comfy, kitchen area was great - had everything you could need (kettle, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher). Bathroom was nice, had a bathtub with a shower attachment. Didn't have the breakfast option included so I can't comment on it. Wifi worked really well. Hotel Maria is in a good location, the Old Town was just a 10 minute walk away. A further 5 minutes walk from the Old Town is Forum Nova Karolina, a massive shopping centre which was very modern and nice, which had lots of different eating places, shops and a big supermarket too. There's a tram stop 5 minutes walk away from the hotel which connects directly to Ostrava hlavni nadrazi the main train station. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying at Hotel Maria as I don't have anything bad to say about the place at all and I'd stay again if I ever returned to Ostrava. Also got to say one of the girls on reception (I think her name was Pavla) was so helpful and one of the nicest people we come across in a place we stayed.

We had a familyapartment with high ceilings, shower and 2 beds with extendable coach(for two kids). Safe parking at hotel yard (can be little bit difficultto pass thru a tiny entrance for wide cars) - hotel charges 200 czk forparking/day. Also part of hotel: bar and restaurant (with breakfastpossibility). Food was ok, rich breakfasts with a wide selection ofdifferent dishes, teas and coffee.

Review 44：The window cover in our room was broken, so the sun woke us up early in the morning. It is also hard for tall people to take a shower, as the room was located just at the roof. Not a big deal though.

Review 46：This hotel is the best value for your money in Ostrava. Cheap rates and comfortable, clean rooms. The staff is helpful and very professional. Head hostess, Pavla, is great. Fluent in English, she is very helpful in answering questions and providing advice.

Review 49：Hotel Maria is close to city center, so you can go everywhere by foot. It has a good parking, so you are not worry for your car. It is a pub across the street, for a beer before sleeping. Although it is in the center, it is very quite and you can sleep. Good breakfast. Excellent staff.
