Review 1：The swimming pool in the Therme Spa is quite cold except for the area with a no clothes policy.

Review 2：The rooms were really comfortable, the restaurant has a lovely view over the Baltic. Time dormer strand has a lovely promenade. Unfortunately the views to the sea are obscured by shrubbery going towards Scharbeutz. This is presumably because that stretch of beach is a nudist beach, but if you continue towards Scharbeutz you will be rewarded with a great board walk and cycle track along the beach with cafes etc.

Review 3：No tea and coffee equipment in the room. The room facing the street slightly to noisy.

Review 4：We should like to take this opportunity to praise the staff of the hotel - very friendly and very helpful. Easy access (directly from the hotel) to the Ostsee-Therme.

Review 5：Restaurant great disappointment. Food below average, and really bad service. Waitress repeatedly forgot to bring what was ordered, and when head waiter was told it didn't help much. We were billed for two glasses of wine we didn't have, and were told that it was impossible to correct in the restaurant, but would be deducted in reception on check-out. Of course this didn't happen as promised, but eventually they found a note from the restaurant and fixed it. Everyone was polite and used the word "sorry" a lot, but for a hotel that sees itself as 5-star, this just isn't good enough. No air condition in the room (a suite) and bad wi-fi didn't help either. This was our second stay in the Hotel GranBelveder, and it will definitely be the last.

Review 14：Definitely targets locals, but getting by in American english was no problem. Wonderful hotel on the beach. Large rooms that are well appointed (except for no coffee/tea makers). Very large breakfast selection with many hot or cold choices- including fresh made omelets. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable on site parking rates. Access to the spa and pool faciltiy which is huge - slides, indoor/outdoor and salt water pools, kiddie pool and all very clean. Activities for all ages (we had olders kids). The sauna facility (note: textile free- i.e naked) is outstanding - try the 95c sauna. We look forward to visiting again!

Review 15：Well.. unfortunately, I have to say that they do not earning 5+ Stars. The minibar and the room service menu is really poor.. also I asked the reception for parking service and she said that they haven't employees for parking. At the same time I saw a lot of employees in the back office and they talked about anything and laughed big times.. no time ???? I mean parking service is a must for a five star hotel.. The breakfast service was just to bad.. no one guide me to the table or offered me a table.. I took a dirty table and I had to stand to ask someone to clean it.. also I had to stand up to ask for a coffee.. than I asked for water and a egg dish and they said: no go to the buffet .. is that a five star service ???? No one came to my table to take dirty plates or anything.. I fell really uncomfortable there... The end of the story the food was good but the service horrible..

Review 16：The Spa is really amazing. For the children and even for the adults it's a fun paradise. Also the food is really good. In front of the hotel is the beach which is really clean. The employees are mainly friendly and professional. The bar was my favorite part. The employees are really lovely there and they preper nice drinks.. shame that I can't remember the names of the employees anymore.

Review 29：My only complaint is that I had booked a room with ocean view (and paid extra to get the nice view) and the room we were given, faced the restaurant area. Reception claimed that it did have ocean view, but you would have to step outside the room (ground floor) and stretch to catch a glimpse of the sea. We did bring a dog, which might be the reason for not giving us a great room, but then we should have been told in advance.
