Review 1：The room was a little dowdy and dated. No reception staff after 1.00pm on Sunday. Key code system to gain entry worked easily enough but contact with a receptionist for vital (parking) and useful (restaurant recommendations) information would have been helpful.

Review 3：It may have just been our room (over an alley) but it was a bit loud at night. If you are a heavy sleeper, or wear ear plugs - no worries!
Review 4：The hotel is simply gorgeous. It is an old building with a lot of interesting detail, but also very nicely renovated - beautiful tile in the bathrooms, etc. It was also spotlessly clean.
Review 5：We were unlucky as Saturaday they had a jazz band in the square, Then afterwards there was a house party right behind the hotel which went on until 4.00 in the morning. But being a hot night we had to have the window open as there is not air con But other that it's a great Hotel

Review 9：The location was right in the downtown area, but far enough away that there was not a lot of traffic. Which made my stay peaceful and convenient. I truly enjoyed the breakfast they offered every morning and the pleasantry of the staff. It felt like family.
Review 10：Parking is a challenge. The alley north of the hotel is difficult to enter. In fact, we had to drive a short distance through a pedestrian area to get to the parking. Once we figured this out, stress over returning to the parking area abated.
Review 11：The owner, Herr Schmitt, was very friendly and helpful to us. He speaks English fluently and was onsite daily to check on facilties and guests. The hotel's location is excellent; walking distance to many interesting sites/museums/parks/shopping and dining.
Review 12：found the shower difficult to operate efficiently, could only use the room electric kettle by placing it on the floor and reaching for a plug under the furniture, (very short flex on the kettle).

Review 14：A nice Hotel, quiet and close to town. Shops and resataurants within walking distance. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff speak excellent English and very helpfull. Pretty little town.
Review 15：Despite requesting non smoking room, the room did smell of stalecigarette smoke⬆we also asked for a higher floor which was fine for us,however, keep in mind there is no elevator

As a result when we were out thesecond day they moved us to another room as they needed our larger roomfor a family. Had to go back in with them to get the passports, moneyand credit cards I hide since there wasn't a safe!! Not the idealsituation.

Review 21：Wonderful hotel in the Center of town with no need for a car but parkingavailable. Hotel in the middle of a beautiful plaza. Very simple butclassy. Very comfortable and beautiful room (wood panelled) with a lotof charm and all the modern amenities. Large bathroom. Staff verydiscreet but attentive. Very copious and varied breakfast with anassortment of nice, warm, wholewheat and other breads. Beautiful wood-panelled dining room with well dressed tables with the latest modernchina. Loved everything about this hotel old world charm with a moderntouch. Would definitely return.
