Review 10：The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the metro station. It has many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets around. The Italian restaurant right opposite the hotel is excellent

Review 13：Hotel is not in a nice area. I found help regarding the Berlin Card very poor. We had to go to another hotel where we got excellent advise on the feasibility of the card as well as different alternatives. That was excellent service. On the Sunday at arrival we had to wait till 3pm for check-in although we requested early check-in. Will not stay here again.

Review 36：Had my 12 year old son with me. TV did not work in the room, however fixed the next day. Free wifi but only to surf - €6 charge/day to upgrade for streaming.Other than that perfect stay.

Review 38：No privacy: Shower is in the middle of the room with frosted glass-bit strange! Uncomfortable beds: Double room is 2 single beds pushed together. They seemed to slope to one side too so not very comfortable.

Review 39：Location was near an underground stop (although there seemed to be works on the line so some journeys took a bit longer having to change). If going for the markets its about a 15 minute walk to Charlottenburgh Palace which has a lovely market. Rooms were clean.

Review 43：We did not like the "open plan" bathroom - the actual loo had a door, but the wash basin and shower were actually in the room - recessed in a sort of "alcove" about a foot from the bed! Also, the light for the loo was for the whole "alcove" area, so no chance of NOT waking the other occupant up when nature called in the middle of the night. Not good.

Review 53：Cold, indifferent and arrogant staff. I was given a room close to the elevators and it was noisy throughout the night. I made the booking weeks ahead, thought for a quiet room. When I told the staff, they were not at all sympathetic and quite arrogant anout it. The location is too far from the central areas of Berlin. Small bathroom.

Review 67：When trying to check in online for my return flight their computers were not available in english , so we had to find an internet cafe to check in, when we arrived the electricity was out and our room was right next to emergency staircase so we spent a whole day and night with bus loads of guests arriving and other guests coming and going and the big heavy metal gate opening and closing and the footsteps going up the stairs was very loud you would actually think the guests were coming into the room, Their biggest downfall was the 2 single beds i did request a double bed when booking but was disheartened when i arrived to see the singles so if you are looking for a romance 2 single beds can make it a bit difficult

Also one day a bus load of people unloaded. 50 vs two girls at check in in a small space - felt like a market more than like a lobby. Review 112：The hotel was situated in charlottenburg right next to an u-bahn station in a good area for tourists. It was a perfect base for us to explore Berlin and the nearby Potsdam. The rooms were comfortable and clean and all staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast had a huge variety to choose from and by booking breakfast with the room we saved a lot, otherwise it was possible to get a very good breakfast in the local bakeries which would have been much cheaper than paying on the day. The free wifi was enough for us to use the iPad and stream Netflix, although it was occasionally too slow.

Review 117：The staff in the reception seemed uninterested, it was so obvious they only asked if I had a good stay because someone told them to ask that, they didnt even listen to my answer. Two of them went out smoking on the other side of the road, very unproffessional. When I went down to the reception and asked if I could place my luggage there on a couple of minuites the answer was, are you checking out? Felt like tvey wanted to get rid of me. When I when stores open they told med 10.00 but almost everything was open after nine. One girl was very uncomfortable when I asked for A typical tourist shop in the area she had no clue, had to ask her coworker, disapperad, and came back with the answer no. Wifi was poor. Very good on my workphone, but poor on my private.
