Review 1:none
Review 2:Everything, from the staff to the food to the room. They really took care of you once you arrived at the airport untill you touched down male and hand you over to your hotel rep in Male or till you depart. The food quantity in the buffet is not much but the quality is exceptional. Staff is super helpful and friendly. The beach and sea is crystal clear and superb Everything about the resort is exceptional.
Review 3:1. Activities and food are pricey.2. Overall, some of the staffs are not well trained (/ paid) compared to other 5 start hotel. Housekeeping and restaurant staffs have no good attitude. No even tips work. 3. Restaurant staff (chef and server) are snobbish. You can only get good service when you spend a LOT of money. In the buffet restaurant, service is slow with bad attitude (sometimes no service at all if you don't ask). Servers seems unhappy and no energetic at all. Management team do not manage things well. 4. Many mosquitoes in beach Vila 5. Corals around hotel are died and not colorful due to human activity damage. It is not what I experienced and expected from Maldives.
Review 4:1. Facility is good and new.2. Sea view Vila is gorgeous. 3. Feel comfortable stay in hotel. 4. Staffs working in Sports center are very helpful and patient. 5. Like the sailing board, although I did not have chance to try due to bad whether.
Review 5:-It took us over 90 minutes by seaplane both ways (not 40 minutes, as they claim), as the seaplane service stops at another resort on the way. It’s an expensive and very uncomfortable transfer. Make sure you ask for earplugs. -Loama is not the place for “foodies”. Food is generally mediocre and extremely expensive (we tried all their restaurants). However, the chef in the main restaurant does good food if you request customised a-la-carte meals. -Our general impression was that management does not have a complete understanding of the guests' interests, and you have to ask in order to get things right. To be fair, they generally oblige, or make concessions, once asked. But it’s exhausting to have to be constantly ‘“complaining” in the first place. We learnt that you need to communicate your queries and requests through a “butler”. Ours got sick, but we we were not aware of this and we only got a replacement butler after following up on it ourselves. Our new butler improved a lot of things for us, to his credit. There were some standard things that were not available - for instance, red wine by-the-glass (we eventually got our red wine, 3 days later, after complaining), or milk to go with the complimentary tea and coffee in the room (this was never remedied). The hotel staff cited the tastes of their Chinese guests as an explanation for not being able to provide red wine, which we considered an irrelevant excuse. The worst event was being exposed to insecticide gas at sunset while on the beach (the man doing the fumigating had a protective gas mask on, so it clearly was poisonous!), without any warnings or precautionary measures being taken for the guests. They changed the procedure, thankfully, but we considered the incident unacceptable in the first place.
Review 6:Loama has a pristine sea, with a reef that's good for snorkeling. The beach is pretty, and the island is attractively developed. Rooms are comfortable, and well-serviced. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Their diving centre was good, and we liked the ambiance of the bar (they are lucky to have a good bar tender!)
Review 7:Paradise comes at a cost! With micheline star quality comes micheline star prices - be prepared to pay 'a lot' for everything!!
Review 8:The staff (especially the chefs; japanese, thai and Italian - thanks!). The location is stunning. It's a new resort so pristine, the attention to detail was top class. The food is micheline star quality and the chefs would personally prepare anything you fancied (quite often we had things off the menu). Staff were excellent - very professional and the standard of service was humbling. The views from the room were great (we booked the sunset room).
Review 9:Great staff who looked after our every need. Kids loved catching hermit crabs on the beach. Good dive center.
Review 10:poor staff and very gready about money
Review 11:the island is clean and isolated
Review 12:resort is not fully open, so they should deal with very small issues that need dealing with!!
Review 13:Absolute paradise!!!!!!!
Review 14:Everything was perfect, we couldn't have wished for a better holiday
