Review 1：Tennis court was not free of charge (10€/hour). You need equipment -racket and balls. No rental.

Review 2：Staff are nice & friendly. Room is very clean and new. There's nothing around the hotel but nature so we could spend quiet and relaxed weekend holiday. We enjoyed hiking (hiking route starts just behind the hotel), tennis, pool and sauna.

Review 3：The staff were pleasant. The main lovely lady running everything was so kind, helpful and made sure everything was perfect for us before we even got there. She set up a very cute decorated table at breakfast for my friends birthday. It was so sweet! The food was excellent! Croquets and apple strudel were two items we could not resist each night! Best apple strudel in the world! Get it with ice cream! There are spots to easily hike right outside the hotel. You could also go further down the road as well. There are waterfall and bear attractions within driving distance. Overall it is a very lovely, quiet, and relaxing stay! Highly recommended for such a great price!

Review 8：1. The description of the locaiton on the hotel website is a bit deceiving. It describes being on the river and the photo shows the river, some greenery and the hotel---while the hotel is actually across the road from the river, which is not really visible from the hotel, and sits on the not unbusy road...2. The food in the restaurant was good (though not inexpensive). My friend & I ordered a Chateaubriand for 2. The serving was quite large so we asked to keep the leftovers in the refrigerator of the hotel. This was almost half the serving of the dish. There was no problem until departure morning when the proprietor of the hotel, who had no problem to tell us she would store the food, developed a perturbed look and said the food might not be there. What? It was not, in fact, there. She told us it needed to be clearly labelled so that noone would clean out the refrigerator & throw it away. Interesting since SHE is the owner and SHE took the food from us to the kitchen and SHE knew it needed to be labelled? This is a minor point but left a bad feeling. Not once did she apologize that she threw out half of our 60 euro dish! This is not a large anonymous hotel but a small family-run place to boot. 3. The internet WIFI did not work at all for more than pehaps seconds at a time. This as true in the room and in the lobby. The WIFI may be free but it doesn't exist.

Review 12：The swimming pool and sauna were an unexpected surprise, along with excellent food and service in the restaurant. The hotel is very relaxed and dog friendly and is surrounded by well signposted walks. My only criticism would be that tea and coffee making facilities would have been welcome.
