Review 11：Circus Hotel had a lovely relaxed ambience, but everything ran smoothly. We had a junior suite which was spacious and clean. The dining arrangements were good - healthy food, all fresh. Cool in-house music events some evenings.Staff were brilliant and well informed about anything you needed to know. Popular with Berliners.

Review 12：Hotel must be near a ambulance staging area. Lots of sirens starting close by and leaving. Good neighborhood though. Can't be helped.

Review 23：Excellent experience at The Circus Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, informative and courteous. The location is perfect, plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area (ask the staff for any recommendations, we did and every time it was great) and the underground is right in front of the hotel with easy access to Alexanderplatz and Berlin as a whole. The whole place has that little extra though and care that makes it stand out, and the room rates are a steal for the level of service and quality of the rooms. We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have picked a better place in Berlin.

Review 27：Excellent position for site seeing, The U-Bahn station is right outside the front door, it takes less than 10 minutes to walk to hackescher markt where there are some lovely places to eat, and only a little bit further to museum island. We stayed in a junior suite and the facilities were lovely, Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good, only a small selection but all of a high quality. Tea and coffee are provided in the room however I will note that milk wasn't stocked.

Review 28：We had a room facing to the front of the hotel. It is situated on a busy intersection so there was at times traffic noise. Not the Hotels fault, but If I was recommending, I'd ask for a room to the rear if possible. The traffic will not spoil your Hotel stay or visit to Berlin!

Review 29：We stayed at the Circus Hotel for 3 nights. It was an excellent experience! The staff were always very helpful. The room was perfect. Compact with everything we needed supplied. It was really clean &comfortable. We included breakfast in our stay, which was available for the whole morning, so there was no need to feel under pressure to get up at a specific time! The breakfast was plentiful, with great choice. The hotel is a lovely relaxed space that I'd recommend to anyone who is visiting Berlin. It is located really well, beside the U & walking distance to some top sites!

Review 30：Light is not enough in the room, had to look for stuffs in my suitcase for a long time. Was given a room right beside the elevator, and the wall was not sound-proofing that every time there was someone taking the elevator I was disturbed by annoying rumbling sounds.

Review 33：*Our room on the 4th floor was right on Rosenthaler platz and unbearably noisy.. Unfortunately the staff was not able to give us another room, as they said the hotel was fully booked. *Connecting to the WiFi if you are a returning guest is a nightmare (didn't manage on my laptop after 3 days of trying). Our 1st visit was a success but I would hesitate coming back after this one. There are better alternatives in the area.

Review 37：When we first checked in on the Friday night the shower wasn't working in our room. We got moved to another room (larger and on a higher floor) and were given breakfast vouchers for one morning, which we used on the final day before heading to the airport. Also, it's a shame there is no air con. This wasn't a problem in November, but if we were to stay in the summer months I imagine it would be too hot.

Review 38：The staff were all fantastic and super helpful, explaining how the U-Bahn worked and how best to get around the city, and cancelling a restaurant reservation for us when we'd changed our minds! As others have said, the design is fantastic and for us the location was perfect. Breakfast (we only had this once) was lovely quality, and the Bircher muesli was delicious.

In Mitte, very centra, and away from the city centre enough to provide a relaxed outlook and close enough to walk to a range of restaurants, shopping centres and historical sites. Staff very helpful with tips for getting around. Breakfast modest but great range and value for money. Would definitely recommend to other mature couples.

Because it was warm at night we needed the windows open. But don't let this put you off - make sure you request an inner room, take ear plugs or travel outside the summer months.

There's a very relaxed and laid-back feel about the Circus Hotel. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Rooftop terrace on Level 5 has amazing views and sunlight. Breakfast was well worth the 9 Euro if you're into fresh fruit, muesli, meats and juices - there's heaps! Hip area of town for shopping and food. Loved the 2 night stay!

If going back to Berlin, I would definitely stay here again. From the location a few metres from the Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn (about 45-50 mins from the airport via Alexanderplatz), to the very friendly staff we encountered from arrival and throughout the 3 nights/ 4days we had in Berlin, we really enjoyed our stay.The lobby of the hotel is very welcoming, with nice seating, a desk with internet access and it opens into the restaurant/bar (called Fabisch) which is nicely decorated and furnished (and is much nicer than the one photo I found on the Circus Hotel or Fabisch website) . The hotel rooms are decorated in a funky style. Seemed like new when we were there. We had a double room on the 3rd floor looking into the courtyard in the centre of the hotel.Very nice room, with a decent amount of storage space, and very good shower. Bed was very comfortable too.We went for the 9 euro breakfast buffet each morning and we also had it on the day we arrived as we arrived about 10am. A very good range of organic and very good quality foods. Juices, cereals, mueslis, breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, tea, coffee everything and in a nice restaurant setting. I would recommend the breakfast. We did not have dinner here, but on a couple of occasions, we had drinks after we arrived back from a day out and about in Berlin. The Restaurant/Bar is a nice place to hang out. There are lots of other options for bars and restaurants in the immediate area.The location is great, and you can walk to lots of the sites of Berlin if you wish. But you are also a few metres from a very efficient public transport system with the U Bahn station which is 2 stops to Alexander Platz. Berlin is big so it is likely you will use the public transport system several times.
