Review 1：The hotel restaurant served good food in the evening, but we had to wait 40 minutes before our order was taken, and another 40 minutes before any food arrived. We didn't eat there on our second night because of this. Even though the service and overall stay was excellent, the hotel is a bit expensive at nearly 300 CHF per night.

Review 2：I absolutely recommend this hotel -- everything from the location, the views over the mountains directly from the balcony, and the detailed attentiveness of the staff through to the high quality bedding, excellent breakfast, and cosy communal lounge with wood fireplace, perfect for curling up with a book in the evening after a day in the mountain air. This was 4* or even 5* service in a small family run hotel with top notch mountain views. Definitely will be staying here again!

Review 7：The room was very modern but still all made out of wood inside a beautiful chalet that is surrounded by pine trees. I have slept in a lot of hotels but the bed and the blanket were excellent and I had a superb sleep. The staff was very friendly and called me on my phone when the room was ready for check-in.

Review 9：- Excellent people: friendly, helpful, the owner not only proposed to send our luggage directly to the train station so that we could hike "light" on our last day, he actually delivered and waited in person at the train station. There was only one minute stop at that station and if we cannot get our bag in between, we would have to wait for the next train which comes only in one hour! - Excellent hotel / chalet: great location (only 2mins away from the cable car), cozy rooms with nice view and balcony (as we went during the low season, they even upgraded our room), room temperature is perfect, very clean bathroom, comfy bed, pillows and blanket. Even there were not many guests (probably just three of us), they still prepared sauna and kept the wood-burning stove on until late night. - Excellent price / quality: probably because it's low season. All the services (sauna, fireplace, luggage delivery) were free of charge, or rather people's kind initiative. We've been traveling to many places because of work and also for vacation in and out of switzerland, this is probably one of the best hotels / chalets we've ever had. Everything is beyond the words! We strongly recommend it and wish we were able to stay longer! We will definitely choose it again if we come back to the region next time.

Review 11：This is a gem of a find, right next to the cable car station to Betten. The family are very kind and professional, they really make every effort to make your stay akin to a 5 star hotel, with an evening turndown service and excellent choice of local produce offered at breakfast. Wifi worked very well, and as for my room (no.12) I was seriously blown away - it's more modern than the front facing rooms that I saw, and has some really nice design furniture, the wall panel radiator was so cool! It also had a nice view of Bettmeralp and the Bettmrehorn too.

Review 20：The hotel was just a short walk from the cable car and an easy walk into town. The suite had amazing views of mountains from two sides and was peacefully quiet. A private balcony with comfortable lounge chairs was a great place to relax and admire the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to us and our small dog. The restaurant food was delicious.

Review 21：All personnel in the hotel and the restaurant were so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very good. It's really nice and cosy to sit in the room with the fireplace. Pity we were only there for 1 night, we'll definitely come back!

Review 22：Ferienhotel Waldhaus is located next to the main cableway to the village. The location is fantastic and the views from our room were incredible! The staff was very nice and helpful and our room was large and clean. There is a large choice for breakfast and we could leave our bags after check-out. A wonderful stay!

Review 23：We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All members of staff were very kind and friendly. The room was so cozy, comfortable, spotless clean, warm and had a wonderful view. We could tell that the staff really cared for the facilities and guests. We felt very welcomed there and the whole facilities are so modern and up to dated and yet kept the beautiful traditional touch so well. The hotel is very family friendly and dog friendly too. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
