Review 1：Our internet connection was so bad, so I had to cancel my job and go down to recptionen. After day two, I was given a room on the second floor near the elevator so I could sit there and work. So then it was ok! So you should stay at this hotel and need internet, do not stay on the 1st floor but on the second floor near the elevator. Then there was also the bartender very rude! He would prefer not to got there! So you want to drink something at the bar, it is better you take with you your family or friends elsewhere

Review 3：well placed close to rail station and bus routes to Konigssee etc but set back from the road so quiet. Very comfortable room, nice pool, excellent breakfast; friendly staff

Review 4：Very far from center (about 20 min.walk). There is a catch with the "hot tub",we were informed it's included,but it's not.You have to pay 25 euros up front to use it and it's actually a privat(?) bathroom with a tub in it.Also,there is a sign at the sauna and steam room warning that you must take off all your clothes (a towel is optional).... Hotel is overpriced.

Review 12：It was very very warm during our stay in Berchtesgaden. There was no air conditioning which was disappointing for a four star but this would have been easly dismissed had they at least provided a fan. A room kettle with coffee and tea would have been nice but there was none. Also I was surprised that it lacked a keycard room door locking system. Only one English TV channel.

Review 19：This was a great location for our hiking holiday in Berchtesgaden. Close enough to walk to the downtown pedestrian area (about 1/2 mile) and the Information center just down the road. This is where we met our tour for the Eagle's Nest (which I highly recommend!) The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, Breakfast was outstanding; nice variety of breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs & bacon, and the coffee was good (which is pretty important!). The room was very comfortable and large. We really appreciated the sitting area to relax and plan out our next adventure. The beds were comfortable albeit very firm. Very clean and well kept.

Review 40：Our bathroom was dirty. Marks on the walls and around the shower. The swimming pool had sand and stones on the floor and no one was stationed at the wellness and spa reception. Therefore we couldn't book any massages. The bathrobe on my bed also had nailvarnish on it, which was obviously from the last user and hadn't been washed properly.

Review 43：Nice hotel room facing the Alps. Located on Konigsser Strasse which has direct bus to the Konigsee. A lovely cat went into our room at night.

Review 48：Suggest had better arrive the hotel on day time, if arrive late, it'shard to find the place ( even google map cannot show correctly and veryfew people outside who you can ask in Germany), and the main entrancewill be closed, you need to call them, but it doesn't matter if you gothere on day time. And all the hotels in Berchtesgarden town have thesame problem.

I went there onchristmas holiday, everywhere full of christmas atmosphere. And feellike at home. I like it! I think it's very good to spend holiday, maybeon sumber it will be more beautiful! Review 54：This "four star" hotel rating is deceptive. Only the newest renovatedfew rooms could be considered four star level. The initial room we hadwas more like a low level three star since the pillowcases had holes inthem and the sink in the 70's style bathroom was cracked. I woke up witha backache due to the very soft mattress which is most unusual for me.The balcony had a puddle of water in the center which made it unusableand was not securely separated(NOT at all) from the adjacent room. Sinceit was a summer night, we had our balcony door open and if our neighborhad chosen to, they could have entered our room--no problem whatsoever.Althought we had requested a cool room in advance, the room was on thesouthwest corner and ended up being very warm. Due to the backache werequested to be moved the following day and were given a recentlyrenovated room which was better, however the hotel charged us more forthis room. The breakfast buffet was not four star quality nor was thebehavior of most of the staff in the hotel or restaurant. The four starrating on booking.com is not accurate. If you book through bookings, youwill get a three star old style room. The hotel entrance shows boththree star as well as four stars. It was only recently given a four starrating and we believe that rating was only for the renovated rooms andnot those shown on bookings which we consider three star due to the1970's decor and equipment. The food in the hotel restaurant is veryinconsistant. I ordered quiche the first night which was truly verygood. The following night I ordered the same thing and it was awful. Icomplained about this and they actually had us pay cash for this mealonly and the balance was charged to our room. It seems the hotel staffis trained to take advantage of its guests.

Review 56：It is easily two kilometres from the center of town on an unattractive main road. The exterior of the hotel and the interior decor is dated.

Review 58：Most of the aerobic equipment in the fitness room was not workingproperly. The remaining fitness equipment is scanty. Hotel is located ona busy main road in a built up area. All rooms with views of mountainsalso have issues with trafffic noise. I was in a back room, facing awayfrom the road, that was quiet but the view was a near vertical slopeabout 20 meters from my window. When I booked, booking.com indicatedthat mine was the last room left at the hotel that was still available.In fact, there appeared to be plenty of vacant rooms...at least that wasmy impression. Overrall though, any negatives were balanced off by thelow price of the room.
