Review 1：Nothing, however, I would mention that this is a historic building without modern soundproofing. I didn't have any problems with noise for sleeping, but the walls may be too thin for others.

Review 3：We love that the hotel is very close to the train station and we got bus card to travel. The breakfast is nice and as we arrived in the early morning we could just enjoyed the meal and left the luggage there to go sightseeing. The spa got us relaxed too. Staffs are very helpful and nice.

They offered so much information of the area without us even asking and made us feel like home rather than a hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and our room was cozy and clean. Cannot ask for a better hotel in the area and will definitely stay here if we ever visit again!

Review 38：-We were there for our honeymoon and have wrote an email to ask for a quiet room in advantage. How ever, the room prepared for us is in the corner of the first floor, face to both of the parking place and the high way, which make it very cold and noisy. -The bath room window faces to the parking place. Since the hotel is located on a slope, if we open the window, everybody in the parking place could easily see us when they look down to the building. Therefore, we should keep the bathroom window closed all the time. However, the bathroom do not have a fan, which makes the whole room wet and uncomfortable. -The outside balcony locates next to the parking place as well, so we don't even use the balcony at all! -The hotel is not as close to the station as we thought previously, about 15 min's walk from the train station.

Review 88：This is a wow hotel in walking distance of the hauptbahnhof and 5 mins from the old centre of Berchtesgaden. It has it's own car park. The staff are so friendly. The breakfast is superb - the best we've had in Bavaria. The view from the breakfast room picture windows is breathtaking. They have a free sauna / spa. The suite room we had had great views, comfortable bed, great bathroom with whirlpool bath. We'll be back!

In the warm period I recommend you ask for a room which doesn't face the road. No air conditioning (typical of many hotels in Germany), though it could cope with the problem of the traffic noise.

Very clean with a nice courtyard seating area and a little garden. Enough parking for everyone and all parts of the town are easily accessible by foot. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and we were even lent towels to visit the open air swimming pool a few miles away.

Review 110：The hotel is located on the left side when coming out from HBF and it takes around 10min to walk. The staff in the hotel are really friendly and when I lost my adapters in Munich and had no ideas how to get one in Berchtesgaden, they just give me 2 for free! Concerning free travel card, it needs 5 euro deposit and when returning to the hotel, 5 euros will be given back.

The Fine Print

The hotel can be reached via the A8 highway's Bad Reichenhall exit. From here, continue on route B20 for Berchtesgaden. Turn left at the traffic light and drive up the Sunklergässchen. Parking is available behind the hotel. Please note that the following exit on the A8 leads to Austria, where guests will be charged EUR 120 unless they have a valid Vignette.
