Reviews for Ankerhof
Review 1:In the single room, wi-fi worked well only in one part of the room.
Review 2:Private parking on site. Very nice restaurant in the next building. I was on business trip and had a birthday, my husband gave me a surprise visit in evening and it was very nice that we were abie to get an upgrade from single to double room without double payment (and a free wi-fi was a little gift from staff).
Review 3:You have to pay for breakfast separate to the room. I was charged for two days breakfast when I only had breakfast one day. However the breakfast was beautiful and is well worth the €9 or so I was charged. The receptionist called the room at one minute past 12 to remind me that my stay was up! I was just leaving the room anyway but it was rather abrupt.
Review 4:Well kept grounds and car park with lovely flower displays. It was very nice to sit outside in the sun. The foyer is spacious and welcoming. The staff were helpful and didn't leave you waiting.
Review 5:Having to use only the elevator: It was not clear how to reach the floor, using the stairs that lead directly to the outside. Unavailability to use a free wi-fi network, at least in the common areas. The restaurant staff shows some troubles in understanding English.
Review 6:The single room is comfortable and quiet. The reception staff is very helpful, also just to chat with the clients.
Review 7:Some of the staff had little English On reception seemed to much to make a effort

Review 13:The high water in the Rivers in Germany, June 2013, reached levelsunheard of since the 17Th Century (400 Years ago.We left in a hurry andsaw just glimpses of the very nice Town and its Castle and theUniversity. Even the Händel festival had to be cancelled.
Review 14:The old Salt Facility, nowadays a Museum about the Guild who workedwith Salt from 806 ad or even before until early1960ies. The Museum isExcellent and if one stays at Hotel Ankerhof the Museum is just aBridge away.
