Reviews for Hotel Restaurant Falken

Review 1:The room was a little dated looking.

Review 2:The hotel had a nice restaurant downstairs with an extensive menu and offered a good breakfast. The room was spacious and had a good shower.

Review 3:The sound of the next door rooms lowering and raising the blinds as some kind of novelty, down, up, down, up......

Review 4:Altho receiving an email from the hotel informing us that they have the day off on a tuesday and to get the keys from the bar next door, the owner met us and took the time to show us the room and explain in excellent English the facilities (including sauna etc), breakfast etc. There is a lift to most floors and easy access from the carpark at the rear. The hotel is beautiful and just like the pictures. Breakfast is excellent with a great choice. The owner also took the time in the morning to help out with some suggestions for sight seeing etc

Review 5:Unable to fault the hotel in any way.

Review 6:Friendly and well run. Converted to half board for the last 4 days of the holiday. Terrific value at 17 euros per person ... you get a four course meal for that! Thoroughly recommended.

Review 7:The property, furnishings and most of all the staff were just great. The restaurant was beautiful and the food exceeded some that I have had in 5 star hotels. I am big on clean and it was clean every where. In summation, I liked it all.

Review 8:No bad experiences. Just some preferences. Room bathroom was modern, but tiny, and half the time one had to hunt down the receptionist just to get some questions answered. Also, despite what Google maps will tell you, this hotel is a bit of a bike from the train station.

Review 9:This hotel is near the top of a hill, so the views from any of the rooms are going to be pretty much amazing. Facilities come with a spa, and hotel guests are guaranteed a table in the hotel's restaurant, where the food is World class Swabian cuisine. Our room was simple yet stylish.

Review 10:They charge extra for more kids in the same room.

Review 11:Great restaurant with attention for kids. Arrived very late at night and key was waiting at the pub near by. The owners do anything possible to satisfy you and speak English which is not always the case in Germany. Parking at the hotel for free. Breakfast is great.

Review 12:Lady in the restaurant has no smile. Except this, nothing.

Review 13:Great single room. Spacious shower room.

Review 14:We had a wonderful stay... hope to come back again! Great room and delicious breakfast!

Review 19:Great breakfast! The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Review 20:Delicious food Friendly staff Amazing location Beautiful views Good transport links Car parking

Review 21:No real problems - some might find the toilet and shower facilities a bit cramped.

Review 22:The meals were all excellent - the inclusive breakfasts were of real quality. The staff were all enthusiastic, considerate and professional - nothing was too much trouble. The management should be very proud of the whole team. The hotel itself was warm, with good facilities and had an excellent massage room on-site.

Review 23:Room a bit dated.

Review 24:Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice Restaurant serving very good food, giving great value for money. Excellent breakfasl. Large bedroom.

Review 25:Sweet place, in a very quiet town. The town is not especiallyremarkable, but the hiking in the forest all around is fantastic. Thehaute cuisine scene in baiersbronn is among the best in the world (thisis not my opinion, ask Michelin)

Review 26:Far distance to major places of interest.

Review 27:Lovely place in country with mountain views. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. Parking.

Review 28:Free wifi was ok, not the best connection and slightly confusing to connect.

Review 29:The room was very spacious and comfortable--very comfortable bed, plus a small sitting room/dining area, plus a desk, plus a balcony with table and chairs with lovely view of the valley. The restaurant was fantastic--we have never had better duck!

Review 30:We liked the lovely spacious room we were in, all the food was really nice, starting with a big breakfast buffet ( including a glass of sparkling wine!). The evening meal consisted of 2 Starters, Mainmeal and dessert which was exellent. Very friendly and helpfull staff. You was also given a "Travel card" which you could use throughout your stay to travel around the Black Forest for free .( Train or Bus).

Review 31:Steep narrow steps to get to small room on 3rd floor, window looks out to a brick wall 1 metre away
