Review 1:The younger man who was the server at night in the restaurant. He was not friendly to any of the guests, and seemed angry when guests came in. Many tables commented on him being up please t and rude. The rest of the restaurant staff was very nice though
Review 2:Very clean, very nice staff. Front desk staff very friendly and the breakfast staff in the restaurant was extremely welcoming
Review 3:It wasn't explained that you had to ask which table was allocated at breakfast and we were moved 'along' by germans who wanted the table with their name on it. Also, there was not a lot of choice on the breakfast buffet.
Review 4:The location of the hotel was very good for discovering the area and visiting the Eagles Nest. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The reception staff were excellent and the restaurant served good evening meals.
Review 5:Breakfast seat was preassigned by the staff. They could not find our seat for 10-15 minutes, and finally they gave us a table. Food was ok not great. Rooms were very small. Lobby was noisy with a lot of people using the internet since there was no wifi connection in the room.
Review 6:The breakfast was poor , the doors to the balcony was not working properly, the room was a little bit worn down (but the bath room tiptop)

Review 22:Missed one breakfast because needed to be in Salzburg early for a tour. Would have liked coffee and a roll before we drove to Salzburg but not available.
Review 23:View of the mountains. Nice and enjoyable waiter.
Review 24:Having to pay for WIFI. The toilet room was seperate from the shower room and very small. The lobby smelled like the pool and the hotel is in need of an update but was comfortable and clean.
Review 25:The balcony off the room provided a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Easy to find and lots of free parking. They had reserved a table for us for dinner and for breakfast. The meals were very good- the breakfast buffet was extensive. There was a lift.
Review 26:parking a little challenge, but that's Europe!
Review 27:Lovely hotel at an excellent price! Love the fact that every room has a balcony! Comfy room, plenty of channels on the flat screen TV, indoor pool and a plentiful breakfast with a reserved table for every guest.
Review 28:The receptionist was cold n unwelcoming. She appeared overworked. The hotel facilities are old with no free wifi.
Review 29:The site which allowed quiet time to view the mountains.
Review 30:As we arrived late evening, parking the vehicle was quite challenging as the parking lot has not enough space. It was quite difficult to find our table in the first morning, but that is a very minor issue.
Review 31:Very pleasant stay, friendly personnel, price matches the overall quality, generally I would recommend this hotel to all travellers.
Review 32:The parking is a challenge. Loading and unloading is difficult in the small drive area in front of the hotel.
Review 33:The room was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with a nice variety of foods.
Review 34:The location is perfect for seeing all of the local attractions. You can see the Eagles Nest from the outside seating area of the bar/ restaurant. Staff are really friendly, the rooms are ok and the food was good.
Review 35:It is a little bit far from the city center but this is obvious when you make your reservation by looking at the map. So it is not a surprise.
Review 36:The staff is very friendly, the hotel is in an older building but it looks much better than on the pictures here. The furnitures are not luxury stuff but friendly and comfortable, also the room as well. The bathroom was clean, the room too, with a great terrace with panoramic view to Eagle's Nest. Not all the rooms has this view so if you are lucky you get a good one :) You get towels, soap, shampoo with the room, so basically you do not need anything extra. The breakfast is very good, you can eat what you want, as much as you like. The dinner is also great, in the a la carte section you can select from local bavarian foods, together with vegetarian stuff, salads, desserts and a lot of drinks. The menu is also good, there are 3 choices to select from. Of course the menu is cheaper than the a la carte way. If you are there you have to drink at least one bottle of Berchtesgaden beer, it is excellent and tasty!
Review 37:When we arrived, we waited 10 minutes at the front desk with no one insight. By the time the elderly woman arrived to help us, there was aline of four people behind us waiting for help. It took a further tenminutes and a younger woman who spoke english to actually get our roomkey. The hotel did not have any air conditioning. When we opened thewindow to let some cool air in, my wife and children got bit bymosquitos. The shower doesn't actually have a bracket on the wall tomount the nozzle. It would cost a dollar to buy a 3m sticky mountingbracket at a local store. This is the first hotel out of hundreds thatI've stayed at that did not have a shower head that actually mounts onthe wall somewhere. They do have an indoor pool, as advertised. However,be aware that the pool contains frigid alpine water. The temperaturewould be good for a serious swimmer's work out, but will not becomfortable for anything else.
Review 38:The breakfast buffet was great.
Review 39:Parking a problem Entry and exit to join the main road not marked with any signage
Review 40:They now offer wi-fi, bit it's only available in the lobby area.
Review 41:View from balcony
Review 42:Low standards of rooms that would rate a 4 out of 10. Torn floor tiles and walls needed plaster and painting.
Review 43:Location by main roadway.

Review 45:reception lady is very friendly.
