Review 1：Walter (the owner) and his staff were so nice to me. They treated me like family. The last day of my stay, knowing that I was checking out before breakfast was served; they offered to fix me a couple of sandwiches. They did not only that, but also; they fix me a bag with fruit, yogurt and water. Only my mom did that when I was young. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is clean, cozy and 2 blocks away from the center of town. If I come back to Solothurn, I'll stay here again.
Review 2：We were warned that the room (in a converted attic) would be hot. A large fan was provided but was totally ineffective. There is no direct access to the top floor by lift. At other Swiss hotels I have been given a free pass for public transport but this was not offered here. Also, the manager seemed to know nothing about public transport in the area. Because of a problem negotiating bridges, I wanted information about a bus across the river to the old town. The manager could only suggest a taxi and said that public transport would be expensive. However, I discovered that several buses ran regularly from a stop close to the hotel across to the old town at a cost of a few Euro.

Review 6：The front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs with a fan in the room and preparing a wonderful take out breakfast when we had to leave at 5am on the second day of our stay.
