Review 1：Very friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast! Room was very clean. Beautiful green lake just outside. Good starting point for hiking in the Berchtesgaden area.

Review 6：No spa, pool, sauna - something you might expect from a hotel in the mountain region of Bavaria. Slightly hard to find without proper signage to point the way. Cash only, no credit card machine.

Review 8：When we arrived, we were told there were no rooms, then shown a basement room which was underground, asked to stay there the 1st night and then be provided a better room on the 2nd night. We were charged less for that 1st night, but this is very poor service.
