The "Fischerwirt", established in 1885, is a family-run hotel.
You can feel the old Tyrolean atmosphere when you enters the house - the traditional dining-room, the wine-room, the spacious lake-side terrace etc.
The Fischerwirt is situated at the north end of the lake, across from the landing site for the Steamer. The swimming area with shower facilities is across from the Fischerwirt too, and water sports, beach volleyball, pedal boats and the starting point for many mountain walks in the Karwendel are just minutes from the hotel door.
In winter there is a 31 mile cross-counrty route within a few minutes walking distance of the hotel, as well as the bus stop for the free ski bus.
The largest skiing area in the region is the "Christlum" which is only half a mile away.

Review 1：The reception was not staffed at busy times and we had to find somebody on arrival and departure. An electronic call bell would be useful.
