Reviews for Anassa Hotel
Review 1:Expensive food! More variety of vegetables and salads for the breakfast would be nice. Most of the food was sweet. It would be great if there were hours for kids in the spa.
Review 2:The warm pools - indoor spa salt pool and the outdoor kids pool - are great. The view and the location is also fantastic.
Review 3:The food in the restaurants is overpriced The Rooms should have tea and coffee making facilities
Review 4:Although the Hotel is quite old the maintenance is excellent so you don't notice the years The service is very good, mainly because of the staff
Review 5:If someone is looking for night fun with a group this is probably not the place as most guest at the beach seemed elder.
Review 6:Amazing hotel. Ideal for honeymooners as it is charming and quiet with great architecture and scenery.
Review 7:Cost of the food - if not on the HB plan - is too high also considering is a 5 stars hotel.
Review 8:Location. Professionalism, courtesy, efficiency, problem solving attitude of the staff
Review 9:The musicians at every meal in the evening didn't work. It made conversation difficult and hearing the same songs 4 nights in a row was very annoying.
Review 10:There were a lot of young children and babies during our stay which made breakfast not relaxing due to noise level and strollers and high chairs making it tricky to maneuver between tables and buffet.
Review 11:Quiet location and lovely spa.
Review 12:Kids running around the restaurant. Why not segregate? More family orientated than I had hoped for. I will not be going back as quickly as I would have liked. In that respect it was pricey.
Review 13:Our quiet room - 323 Spa
Review 14:The policy for the Reastaurant not to accept us in a casual outfit in the Asian Reastaurant. It's a beach hotel and you don't think to take formal wear. I respect the policy but their reaction when we asked for our table was really unacceptable . The maitre she made us feel really awkward
Review 15:The surrounding nature
Review 16:Main outdoor pools very very cold - would be a huge improvement to heat these (especially during october ) - as a result you could see hardly anybody was using them, was a real shame.
Review 17:Fabulous spa Wonderful staff Spectacular setting and layout /design Good range of meal choices
Review 18:Excellent staff and amazing resort. We relaxed immediately and had a fabulous vacation at the Anassa Hotel. Loads of fun for children and perfect downtime for myself.

Review 41:great unhurried environment, staff and services worked at our pace, but very attentive staff when required...
Review 42:Location, hotel design, fasciitis, restaurants, beautiful view from our room.
Review 43:You can't eat dinner with your children before 7:30pm and in most of the restaurants.
Review 44:Best service i' ve ever seen! nice food, good staff, picturesque area... everything was excellent!!
Review 45:It's more expensive to stay (and eat) than many others but, in my view, is well worth it.
Review 46:Location, superb beach and very luxurious property. Staff are all very friendly and take a genuine interest in ensuring you enjoy your stay. Being so spacious there is room for couples as well as families to really relax.
Review 47:Noisy and poor a.c. In bedroom No beachside restaurant Noise from adjoining rooms Lengthy check in Mediocre but expensive food
Review 48:Bed, beach, valet parking, breakfast
Review 49:No kettle and tea/coffee trays in the room..
Review 50:Very helpful staff tried very hard to find us an alternative room as the one we got on check in was near the kids pool and quite noisy.. Very good choice and high standard of food offered for breakfast and lunch/dinner buffet.
Review 51:- Welcome could have been better - Internet service not always available and very slow - Restaurants and bars on the premise overpriced compared to the quality offered
Review 52:- Location is magnificent - Garden makes for very pleasant stroll
Review 53:Restaurants were over priced, 160 Euros for 2 people without drinks in regular buffet restaurant, others were around 250-300 Euros, Design and comfort of the room is very poor, No tea, coffee or water in the room, accomodation in Late October is the same price as in high season but you Can't swim in the sea or pool, water is very cold, evenings are cool and you have to dine inside
Review 54:Nice weather for sunbathing and very freindly stuff
Review 55:Nothing, I cant say anything I did not like
Review 56:Very friendly and helpful staff from reception to cleaners. The hotel has a very friendly feeling and the décor is stunning. They make you feel first class. Little things like having the air condition on in your room before arrival making the room cool and fresh that's what makes the difference and first class service.
Review 57:1. The extremely cost of food and refreshments, 2 scoops of ice cream 6 euro2. They should provide free water every day in rooms 3. Poor cocktails 4. Small swimming pool
Review 58:1. Location2. Relax
Review 59:Well below average cuisine, overpriced "In Hotel" facilities. Lacks "Authenticity" that defines a true 5 star resort. Not so interesting towns Nearby. Lack of Parking and very bad valet service (damage done on our car)
Review 60:Family Friendly Hotel. Facilities architecture, Clean well maintained, attentive and friendly staff, Very nice Patio Bar with stunning views of the Akamas Peninsula.
Review 61:Having to leave !
Review 62:Perfect location and pure luxury. Our expectations were high and we found all the staff to be friendly, attentive and efficient. It's not cheap but is worth it !
Review 63:The onle down side is the 50 minute drive from paphos and the quality of nearby towns.
Review 64:this is an excellent hotel with superb staff and a fine selection of restaurants serving top class food. The location must be of the best on the island and having stayed at a few, definitely the best hotel on the island
Review 65:Anassa is a nice place to stay if you are hoping to escape from the city, though sometimes it seems a bit overcrowded, especially on weekends, as it is a popular place for weddings. It will take just a few minutes by taxi to get to the nearest village, where you can find souvenir shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes more to get to Polis. Rooms with a balcony or a terrace are absolutely similar to those with the private pool. And if you want a seaview, you shall not choose the ground floor. Breakast buffet is fabulous, in the evenings it also work as a buffet and almost every night they have different cuisines. All in all it was a really pleasant vacation. A place I would love to return to.
Review 66:Everything! The friendliness and efficiency of the staff however was quite extraordinary. The service each and every member of staff provided was exceptional and, coupled with the beautiful location, luxurious facilities and gourmet cuisine, helped to make our four day stay at the hotel truly memorable!
Review 67:A lot of problems on the each step: - sunbed on the beach is occupied on holidays, you have no chance to take one if you didn't occupied it on the early morning, - moody staff, - pettiness, - continental breakfast includes only tea, coffee and bread. No cheese, no hum, no eggs, one small butter on 6 persons - if you want more, you have to pay. - sea view does not matter that you will see a sea. I didn't know it. It means only sea side. If you want to see sea - you have to take "panoramic sea view"! - no socets for the notebook, you have to use long long extensions - wires on the floor is not good... - and so on. We asked other guests, they also have some problems. It's awful hotel.
Review 68:Very beautiful place, nice looking hotel, luxury style.
Review 69:This hotel is very expensive, but lacks the feeling of generosity that tends to go with very high end hotels. For example; the only complimentary water was given at check in, after that guests must buy water at 9 euros a bottle, while thinking it a show of exemplary service to change the sheets and towels every day despite the dated and irresponsible eco implications. Pool attendant was unable to group together chaises and umbrellas because they were too heavy to move so getting our family settled was like finding a seat in a crowded movie theater!! ridiculous. A lot of the staff were surly people from Eastern Europe and were less attentive and friendly than the Cypriot staff we had hitherto encountered at our stay on the other side of the island.
Review 70:The Anassa is situated in the most beautiful surroundings imaginable and the design of this hotel is perhaps one of the most successful from the point of being sympathetic to the style and romance of the area. The gardens punctuated by cypress tress against the Mediterranean, are magical
Review 71:Need to be refreshed.
Review 72:No dislikes
Review 73:Excellent service and very friendly staff
Review 74:Superb facilities, excellent location and friendly attentive staff.
Review 75:- A little expensive during the season (we paid 720 Euros per night for one room)
Review 76:- The fabulous site- the beach - the staff
Review 77:Other than breakfast.food quality was very poor.
Review 78:location.
