Review 1：Furniture and decoration in the villa is old! But have amazing sea view!! Food is too pricey, not value for it!! Not enough Thakura ( butler) to serve every villa , always should wait the buggy transportation for sooo long time!not convinient!

We stayed at the Beach villa with pool, water villa with pool and at the 2 bed Pavilion. All of them a delight and to top it - the food. It was simply amazing. The sea plane experience was wonderful as well.

Review 22：Everything We stayed here for our honeymoon moon it was amazing, we have been welcomed upon arrival to the airport, they took us to the executive lounge while waiting the seaplane. Upon arrival to Niyama we have been welcomed by the staff and had a refreshing local drink. The room was capacious and well prepared, the sea view was breathtaking. It was so private as it felt we are alone. All the food we tried were awesome and so delicious. Including the BLU restaurant, subsix, dine in services, private barbecue and tribal restaurants. All the staff were welcoming, smiley and so polite. There was a lot of complementary facilities as gym, fun room, pool, ping pong, indoor cinema,kayaking, 15 minutes massage at line, simulation and video games. Everything is within walking distant although there us always a bucky that can transfer you or you can ride the bike provided.

Review 23：the only thing that would highly aske the management for,is the strong current!1 we stayed in a deluxe studio with private pool with our kids,me and my 10 years old wnet for snorkeling next to our room(romm 53),on the stairs it says that( strong current can be dangerous ). but we didn't really take in mind, because no one mentioned that to us and since we had an accesses directly to th beach, we went and swim,then my son noticed that we cant go back becae the current was very stong,thank god we found (Rasheed) the worker who saved our life,we called for help and he jumped and got us the life vest, then he calmed us down and they were really professional in rescuing us and were very concern about what happen the only thing that I would ask them for, to be more conscious and explain for their guest about the current and have times when people cannot at all swim, because its really dangerous. so this room useless if you really want to swim in the sea, other wise its gorgeous very amazing view perfect spot, very private if people is not using the sea which they don't because of the strong current. buffet is vey expensive 110 USD which is a lot, we ended up with al cart menu because its way cheaper, instead of paying 320 for two ,using the al carte menu you will pay 110-130 for two. seaplane was very tight hot and humid and very long trip (55 min ) and we were very tired from our first flight which the staff told us that they are working on this issue and it will be fixed very soon. but we were able to see a very beautiful view from it.

Review 24：I loved this resort soooo much, its a piece of heaven. staff are very very welcoming and friendly. our thakura(butler)was one of a kine.her name is shaulah,she is the sweetest person ever,very helpful and what ever we asked her for was absolutely done. all my special request was taken seriously, I asked for a private room because I wear hijab and I got the most private room in thw whole island, which was the beach studio with private pool number 10, I spend an amazing time and felt free. even if anyone passes next to our room cannot see anything. which I highly recommend for people who wants total privacy or for a vield (hijab),woman. thanks for every review I read ,it helped me a lot. breakfast was amazing, our children were very satisfied with their food,what ever you ask for kids that are in the menu was directly delivered. we also asked for a late check out from our deluxe studio with private pool, so they couldn't give us this deluxe room because they had a wedding but instead they offer us a beach studio with private pool to use while we waiting for our seaplane, which was very generous and kids enjoyed their time to the last minute. we also asked to use the latest seaplane which they did for us. our stay was amazing and would definitely recommend this for families . they have an amazing kids club and great interactive pool. having bicycle is a great and very fun idea, our kids enjoyed it very much. the idea of the resort is great because they have two connected island one is for the couples and the other is for families which is really very convenient. deluxe studio with private pool over the sea was a great room , but I don't recommend it at all for any family with kids,its not safe, but that was our mistake (we choose to have it)but we have learned a lesson. the beach studio with private pool was perfect with kids and vey safe.

Review 28：From the time we arrived to Male Airport the attention to detail of this resort and its staff was truly remarkable. My husband and I have stayed in many wonderful hotels and resorts around the world but we left Niyama and both agreed that overall this was the most professional, friendly, fun, relaxing and amazing resort we have yet to visit. The location itself is of course beautiful but all of the Maldives is like this, this means that a resort needs to do something different to make a difference with more that 23,000 rooms available in the Maldives! They have certainly managed to achieve this and it is with great pleasure that I must thank Di Di the General Manager and all his wonderful staff for making my Christmas Gift to my husband so special and perfect. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and clean with the most fabulous out door bathroom. The resort itself while not huge but big enough to enjoy walks on the beach and the many wonderful food outlets available. The food itself is truly magnificent and there is something for everybody. There are plenty activities to partake in or if you want to do nothing there is peace, quiet and tranquility. If you are a family there is plenty of things for the children to keep them busy. They are currently extending another part of the island which the team offered to show us and all I can say is when it is complete you will never want to leave this resort. Don't waste time and book your stay at Niyama its a definite one for the wish list. Me and my husband already planned to return in a couple of months.

Tight seaplane and long flight from Male (50 Minutes ) ... they also made an un expected stop at a close by resort which was a bit annoying taking that we were already tired from flight into Male. 2. Limited variety of dinning options at the resort. 3. A bit of a mix up with breakfast delivered to our room, but eventually things were sorted out!

Review 30：1. Niyama Lounge at Male Airport = comfortable, welcoming, and stacked with all sort of food and beverages. 2. Staff = friendly, welcoming, helpful, and cheerful. 3. Water Villas = Exclusive (private), clean, comfortable. 4. In Villa Entertainment = Great BOSE sound system and great selection of movies (free of charge) 5. Transportation inside Niyama = you get to choose your own mode of transportation (buggy with a driver or you get as many free bicycles as you may need). 6. Butler = you are assigned your own butler for the entire duration of your stay (very helpful with any question you might have or any request ...ie dinner reservations, activities bookings .. taking you on a private tour around the island etc) 7. Room Service = 24/7 dine in option. 8. Beach & Pool area = extreme pampering from staff attending to that area (complimentary drinks and fresh fruits & tanning lotions are also provided free of charge). 9. Check in & Check out = check in was done in the water villa for our convenience once we arrived tired from our long flight .... and check out is done there night before departure at reception and you get a complimentary breakfast on departure day. 10. Dinning = you must try the epicure restaurant (international cuisine) and you should go for a drink and a desert at Subsix Lounge.

Review 31：I loved the restaurant in the middle of the but their menu needs more variety, so couldnt dine there and went back to the island

Review 33：- the Bose sound system is great but difficult to use, need to connect it with password everytime. - our butler was invisible, not really helpful, particularly got negative feeling after i paid him a US20 of tip once i met him on day 1. He did nothing for us. I should pay him on day 6. - Sea plane transfer is expensive, US1,120 for two persons. But it should be more or less similar in Maldives. - snorkeling and diving experience is not the best comparing to what i saw in other islands pics on internet. But i expect it at the time i chose Niyama. It is still ok, not really affect our overall experience very much.

Review 34：- The Niyama lounge in Male airport was great, and very important. - The sea plane flight time was arranged in a "tried-their-best" manner. I took 630am sea plane and start my breakfast on Island at 8am. I checked out and left at 430pm. It was so great. I felt that I gained a whole day at day 1 and half day more on my last day on the island. - free ice-cream and free bottle-water ,refill everyday. - Nice and spacious water villa and beach villa. Fulfilled expectation - the activities' quality was great. Dolphin tour and night fishing, excellent experience. Acceptable pricing, fair value for money. - Good breakfast food variety. - Though i speak English, but i appreciate that there are 5 Chinese staff there to take care Chinese customers. - Very clean, and almost insect-free. They did a good job in insect/mosquito control.

The pictures cannot be fair enough with the place. It was an amazing honey moon over there.

Review 39：First of all, thank you Niyama and Shifaz. Shifaz, you made our holiday the best we have had by helping us all the time. Honestly, everything was perfect from the pre-arrival communication for our vacation to the Niyama airport lounge, to the tropical reception on arrival. Niyama offered the best service to us. A well-balanced mixture of activity and privacy. They prepared everything we needed. They looked after the smallest of details, everything from making dinner, water activities & spa reservations. The staff were welcoming, excellent, friendly and helpful especially Shifaz (who took care of us during all of our stay.) and Adam (who volunteered to take a couple of photos for us). The atmosphere was perfect and the food was first class and delicious in all resort’s restaurants especially Epicure (our favorite restaurant). Everything about this holiday was perfect. Thank you Niyama for making our vacation unforgettable.

Review 96：-The dive center not professional enough the boat lose me in sea after the dive and the waves and current pushed me and the dive guide far from Niyama reef to the channel between Niyama island and the local island. I swam more than one hour to reach the local island before we reach the island 100 meter away the hotel speed boat found us. In the end they did not charge it in my bill -We went for big game fishing they charged me 1000$ but we did not caught single fish in four hours

Review 106：- The seaplane was hot and we could smell gasoline during the trip.- Some of the cleaning staff members came at noon during our pool time to clean the pool. So we had to wait. - Buffet in the main restaurant was expensive.

They have provided us with free food and drinks. - Free ice-cream, tea, potato chips, and water everyday. - Room service is always on time and easily reached. - The room is cleaned twice a day. - They provided us with a newsletter everyday to inform us about the activities available for the next day so that we could plan ahead. - The bathroom is AMAZING. - The sea is very clear and clean. You'll find a bit of rocks here and there but other than that ... PERFECT. The water is so blue and clean. - Free kayaking - Water activities are available. - There's always someone who wants to help you out. - The buffet for breakfast has everything you can think of.

Review 108：The overly priced meals. We needed a 300$ daily allowance for food and drink. Which is excessive and unavoidable given the fact that there is nowhere else to eat on the island.

Review 110：There are just a few small things - the WiFi signal, although availableeverywhere on the island, is not very strong. So video streaming is abit difficult at times. The weirdest thing? No soap (yes, soap) in theroom. You get a fresh loofah every day, but no soap. Simple. I willremember to pack my own next time. When I asked my room attendant aboutit he just looked confused. Also, the tv was a challenge to operate andneeded a new cable, and the deck jacuzzi needed to be fixed every daythat I was there. But on par, I could accept these as they are quitequick to address any inadequacies. The food was generally good, but notoutstanding. The one night that I actually lodged a minor complaintabout it, I was immediately comped the meal. And promised a better onethe next day...and it was.

Review 111：It was perfect from the moment we disembarked the sea plane. The staffis very friendly and accommodating, and very attentive to the comfortand needs of the guests. It is a beautiful place the completely takesfull advantage of the natural beauty of the island. Every view ispicture perfect. The Water Studio was 100% as represented in promotionalmaterial. But it is even better than that as it does not depict the fullscale, stocked refrigerator, tons of free munchies and a Nespressocoffee maker :-). The Bose sound system was fantastic and you could useyour iPhone with it for music. And there was an iPad in the room to keepyou up to date with the hotel happenings. There is lots to do for theactivity enthusiast, but plenty of opportunity of uninterrupted privatetime. As a single person traveling alone, the staff made me feel quitewelcome and not out of place. In short, I loved it. Oh, and the wineselections were outstanding.

Review 112：Some of the sea activity overpriced I mean jetski 290$ per half an hourif compaired to uae it is only 50$ per half an hour my jetski only billwas 1500 $ in my stay at nayami ,because you cant use it near the beachand u should go to ocean with supervisor thats why in any jetski trip itwill need time.

Review 115：Leaving Niyama. Even if even good things must come to an end, I don't think anybody really thinks that Niyama is a good thing that needed to end end. Seriously, I suggest that those leaving Niyama for home, with a few hours to kill in Male before their flight NOT eat at "Food Bank" - one of the world's worst restaurants in every respect. Stay at the Niyama Lounge and eat at the Airport Hotel (only one) and relax with many restaurants to choose from.

Review 116：I loved the whole Niyama experience because it is not just a series of good things happening but the way it all seemed to flow into each other logically and comfortably. It is an island quite far from home but the exclusivity and privacy of Niyama makes up for the time traveling g there. Food was reLly good and my favorite meals were at Edge and Tribal. Service, management and staff were all superb. Friendly, relaxed but paying attention to our needs. Being an international crew from all over the world, they brought into Niyama a great mix of fun and friendship.

Review 118：- The beach is very disappointing - pieces of corals are everywhere. You cannot even walk on a sandy beach without getting cut. Same with sea bottom.- When you order food to your villa sometimes it takes up to an hour (even for simple dishes) - The island is very long and you have to walk a fair distance from the villa to restaurants and entertainment areas

Review 126：Minor things that needs to be improved but will probably be practical and ideal for the guests are: - since the bathroom design are so open, I suggest the doors leading to the bathroom should be provided with a simple lock from the inside for privacy. The current design (without door locks) may be okay for couples but it will quite awkward for a group of 3 people sharing a unit/bathroom. On this same concern, maybe provide heavy drapes or blinds on the bathtub area which is directly open to the pool deck (at the Water Villa). - variety of food selection on the breakfast buffet at the Epicure. If you're staying for 4 straight days, the same breakfast buffet for the entire stay is quite unappealing already.

Review 127：My wife and I were booked for four nights and everything were great as advertised. We stayed 2 nights on the Beach Studio with pool and the next 2 nights on the Water Villa with pool and both were fantastic...direct views to the ocean, spacious rooms, dynamic design of the unit most especially the open-air bathrooms, audio-visual equipments in the room were great (especially the Bose sound system), cozy and private plunge pools (especially the pool at the Water Villa) and much more. The F&B outlets were nicely designed since they have a commanding view of the ocean (Epicure, Fahrenheit & Dune) while the Edge being really unique with its location right at the middle of the ocean and Subsix, an underwater bar. Tribal is unique too with the food that they offer. Of course, a good resort needs a good staff and they have indeed a very efficient and friendly staff and management. Special thanks and mention to our 'personal butler' Muiz, F&B Manager Morgan, food servicecrew Sanoj and Ani, and to our fellow Filipinos whom we are proud to see work in a luxurious and top-notch resort in the Maldives, Desiree, Judith, Icar (with husband Joe) & Fernando...thank you once again! It is the place to go if you really want to be away from the crowds and to spend a special private and relaxing time with your loved one. We will definitely be back in Niyama!

Review 129：Luxury beyond 5-star throughout and the location of the hotel which isthe furthest Atoll south of Maldives was absolutely beautiful. It wasnot a typical honeymoon destination as it also had many facilities andactivities available at the resort

Review 130：Unfortunately, it has been discovered by loud and obnoxious Chinese tourists, not that that is Niyama's fault. So, if you go, just hope there isn't a plane-load of them accompanying you, because it ain't fun.
