Review 1：Location is out of the centre and taxis after 10pm are scares you can walk but it's 30min along a bumping path. Not enough sun loungers only 7 and 1 was broken Always run out of pool towels

Review 3：I was disappointed a little with my choice of Magic Mountain. Beforehand I requested a room on the third floor. And hotel kindly confirmed my request. But finally I got a room on the second floor. Deluxe room is not actually deluxe, only standard level. No minibar, no iron and ironing facilities in the room. One set of toiletries in double room (two persons) for three nights without any adding. Dated shabby furniture, broken balcony door lock, broken safety deposit Box, very dirty sofa in little lobby

Review 6：Staff was helpful, booked our adventure there & it was fantastic. Had trouble with our cards to open doors!! Both days, we had to get help getting into our rooms, which was a pain.

Review 7：I booked 6 days in advance of my trip and upon arrival was rudely told that booking.com should not have taken the booking as they were full one of the two nights and the problem was not their fault. They had booked me next door and I was to move out at 6:30AM prior to my tour and move hotels. They had the opportunity to email me days before my trip to offer this or allow me to book elsewhere and did not. Rooms are a bit tired but comfortable. The view was not great in my room as the glass door was fogged up and damaged. They need to refresh and repair things. Aside from the huge booking error the place is comfortable. Beds good, wifi works, hot water. It's OK

Review 9：Weather didn't cooperate. It was rainy couldn't see the volcano even though we were less than 2 miles aWay. Based upon the growth on the Terra cotta roof tiles, I definitely have the impression it rains all the time. Absolutely hated the drive from San Jose... to many potholes to count and mountain driving a nightmare. get a shuttle or, better yet, fly directly.

Review 10：Location. Breakfast is fantastic. We were here, in part, to celebrate our Silver anniversary and the staff did a great job preparing the room.

Review 11：Very well built property, with an excellent view of Arenal. Very clean, good pool and spa. Restaurant is excellent as well, and in my opinion worth the slightly expensive price. A car is handy, though you could organize tours that do pick up / drop off. Arenal observatory is excellent (30 min drive got run) , try to get on their 8.30 tour (best deal in town) and then spend the afternoon eating and watching birds

Review 13：The hotel is located 2.5 miles from town centre -there is a mistake in the booking web- we walked and arrived really tired, they gave us a nice suite to compensate. The view of the volcano and the swimming pool are lovely.
