Opened in June 2012, Maximus Resort features the Infinit Maximus Wellness and Spa Centre with an aquatic and sauna world including massages, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam bath, Kneipp bath and an outdoor cooling pool, all available at a surcharge. Guests can benefit from discounted prices to the wellness centre.
Stylishly decorated, most units have a terrace or balcony with views of the surrounding landscape. Each en-suite room comes with a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Some also have a seating area or a separate living room. The property contains a 3-star area and a 4-star area.
Guests can play bowling, billiards and table tennis. There are also 3 tennis courts and a beach volleyball courts near the property. The property features free parking and free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire building.
A buffet breakfast is served each morning in Maximus Resort. The property’s restaurant serves international cuisine, and also has a garden with barbecue facilities.

Review 1：Friendly staff, the dog was welcome and costed 10euro per night, very good food in the restaurant and fair prices, amazing spa, great view to the lake from the 4* room

Review 2：I found the staff inattentive and initially very unhelpful this did improve during our stay, but nowhere near the standards of a high end four star hotel. The food in the restaurant was very good but the Eatting options are very limited as there is only one restaurant and this is more relaxed fine dinning so also difficult with children. Also there is only one menu for both lunch and dinner which if your staying for more then a few days this can become repetitive and boring. The wellness facilities at the resort are very good, but not accessible to children under 140cm in height this is a great disadvantage when travelling with children who love swimming. Also a lot of the wellness facilities are clothes less so also keep that in mind when booking. The gym was out of order during our stay due to reconstruction. Parking at the hotel is also very difficult as there is no private hotel guest parking so as the wellness is very popular the car park was full every day of our trip so we had to park a relatively long distant from the hotel enterence in some times bad weather this was difficult with buggies tired children and all the bags which go with them!

Review 3：The room was clean modern, easily assessable and comfortable. The wellness facilities are very good but very adult oriented with most of the facilities being clothes less. bowling was also a fun addition! The food on offer was of a very good standard but very limited in variation and only one menu. Breakfasts were vary nice and offered good variety this was a highlight!

Review 4：Parking is full most of the time. Even though the hotel has 'wellness' in it's name, the entry to wellness area is not always 'free'. You can access it from only once a day for max 90 minutes. You gets charged for more. Breakfast was only average. Checkin into the hotel took forever because the lady at the desk could not find out reservation.

Review 6：The door to the terace had a broken lock and called staff knows about this problem in the older part of the hotel and told us the other rooms have the same problem. There is no handle from the outside but it still didn't feel very safe. Very mediocre breakfast for such a posh looking resort. I would have gladly paid more for better quality food. Knowing that the wellness has a great quality I was a bit disappointed.

Review 14：The room had no nice view, even though I had requested it. Check out was at 10am already. The head waitress was not very nice. She was rather gloomy and rigid. The restaurant has only three tables outside and serves no omelettes, or I was not offered any. The eggs in the heater were not fresh. The hotel has no garden or access no its own greenery, though it is in a huge green area.

Review 15：It a lovely and quiet area. You can feel the feng shui energy. The staff prepared generous breakfast to take away upon request.The spa area is simply amazing.

Review 18：From 4star hotel i expected that air conditon will be in place of all roomms. On day that i arrived was 37C and to have a room without this - isnt very nice. Also personal from this hotel is nice, but surrly not reachin stanard for 4star hotel (restaurant mainly). General hotel oveprice the services what you get.

Review 30：Practically everything about this hotel was 5 stars to me. The room (in the new wing) was clean, modern and oh so comfortable. The staff was very friendly, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff. Everything you need is there (gym/spa, bowling ally, billiards, tennis and bar!), and it would be hard to find a reason to leave. Loved my stay, wish I could go back!

Review 31：There was some event and we did not have anywhere to park. The room was furbished in old-fashion way, not at all how it looked like on the pictures. Bathroom and floors were not properly clean. Bed was from some old couch and was uncomfortable. Restaurant did not have any real vegetarian options and pasta was tasteless.

Review 33：The fact that dogs were staying in the guest rooms was something we were not impressed with. On our first morning a dog had pee'd in the lift, leaving a large pool of urine. The first room we were given the heating did not work and the second room the hairdryer did not work

Review 34：Hotel staff were mostly great, however the Spa area staff were very rude and unhelpful each day we visited. The last time, my locker malfunctioned and I was left with no access to our clothes, holding a dripping, shivering child. Spa staff refused to come and help me and forced to to walk out to reception in my dripping swimsuit (no towels!) to get help. The reception area was full of mostly men, all fully dressed. There were several sniggers as I walked past one group of men - I have never been so humiliated in my life.

Review 101：I was in older part of building. Here is nothing in Feng Shui promoted design, just standard room with micro bathrooom and shower, where one tall person hardly fit. Bad smell in corridors, almost no signal of wifi in room.

Review 105：Poor breakfast, cakes were not fresh, only receptionist and one person in restaurant spoke in English. It is a wellness&spa hotel but hotel guests need to pay 290 Czk extra for it and it is only for 90 minut, even for baby under 1 year! We were there in the new year eve and could not go to restaurant until 9 pm because it was booked , even we were guests. Bathroom was not so clean and the shower was separeted with glass and curtain:-/ We came with baby but they did not prepaired for him the bed despite my note by booking, however this was solved fast. Czech speaking staff need improvement, but this is general in the whole country unfortunately.

Review 108：Spa is paid, even for hotel guests. So far the Spa&wellness opens at 15.00h -22.00h, but the staff said they are extending the buidling for the spa, and once its done, the access will be available also in the morning. Location on the city limits, quiet area but remote from Brno.

Review 114：Being guest for one night in this four star hotel. I want to share with you my experience staying there. I must admit, I travel all around Europe and the Globe. That does not mean that I compare hotels from different countries or cities to each other. I stay sometimes in Brno overnight. Usually I chose, Barcelo, Grandezza, Grand Hotel, Hotel International. I gave this hotel a try as it looked good on the pictures and the recommendations were positive. Here some highlights from my side stayed in this "four star" hotel. Booked category: Standard room - Wellness: • You will not find a bathrobe, nor slippers in a standard room,. What attracts definitive to visit the Wellness and Spa area. - Bathroom: • No hot water, had to ask to repair • Shower literally prepared to have a door, instead it has a curtain - too long and greedy • Floor, greedy • No tampons – even standard in 3 star hotels - Bedroom: • Interior and doors (between entrance and bedroom – glass door), low level. One light did not work. • Closet – when you can call it a closet. I would not put my clothes in. - Breakfast: • Don’t expect too much. Used to a dissent breakfast in other four star hotels in Brno, you will be disappointed. Not to compare with international four star hotels. - Location: • Don’t take this hotel when you are on business travel, you have a 20 min ride by car to the city. - Restaurant: • Serious I did not try the restaurant, by my experience with the room. - Surrounding: • Without car you are bind to this "four star" hotel and the services offered.

Review 115：For me the positive is in the surrounding of the hotel, anyway you need a car to go there. -Restaurant in the surrounding: Fish restaurant Rybářská bašta . I go there whenever I am in the city. Wonderful fish menus, and as dessert the chocolate cake, great.

Review 116：The restaurant was rented out while we were there and the hotel questswere not taken care according to four star standard. During breakfastE.G. there were no clean mugs which for me was suprising.

We didn't have any problems with anything. There was a free private parking available and free internet connection. We wished we stayed there longer that just one night. We totally recommend it.
