Reviews for Landgasthof Ruedihus
Review 1:no internet
Review 2:Lovely staff make you feel at home. Food is excellent and the place makes you feel like going back in time. Very relaxing. Spa facilities can be used of a close by hotel.
Review 3:There were many annoying flies both in my room and in the breakfast room.
Review 4:This fabulously-maintained ancient house reeks of history, but the rooms are still comfortable, with modern facilities. The breakfast was excellent, but I was not able to sample the evening meal in the wonderful dining room, as this was closed on a Wednesday.
Review 5:No wi-fi The bathroom - needs an upgrade Dependence on sister - hotel 300 mts away when this hotel cannot deliver
Review 6:The building The breakfast and the breakfast staff The location
Review 7:We had staff smoking a talking quite loudly under our window first night till pretty late which kept us awake. Following nights were better due to rain.
Review 8:Location and atmosphere quite fun. Food good. Service was good but very young.
Review 9:Disasterous check-in & welcome Flies at breakfast
Review 10:Mostly helpful staff
Review 11:Food was fantastic. Very rustic feel with lots of original furnishings and decorations.
Review 12:2 twin beds pushed together is not a double room. Rhuetag on Wednesday is a pain but having to check out in their partner hotel (good trek on icy paths) when having to catch a train is no fun
Review 13:Traditional chalet type accommodation. Food v good when available
Review 14:The one-bed room could use some update (ceiling fixture, carpet), staff smoking area is below that room's window
Review 15:Nice atmosphere, competent staff, excellent fresh breakfast and you're allowed to make sandwiches from the breakfast buffet to take away
Review 16:I think I was charged for the "free apero", but since I didn't keep the bill I can't be sure.
Review 17:Personally, I loved the hotel for the history it represents. It was built hundreds of years ago, and the antique feel has been preserved. The rooms are furnished with furniture appropriate to an old, but nice, farm-house.The food is absolutely delicious and very fresh.
Review 18:The bathroom was a bit average.
Review 19:The ability to stay in a large traditional Swiss Chalet style hotel, with fantastic food, but use the gym and spa facilities in the modern sister hotel close by.
