Reviews for Hotel Bayern Vital
Review 1:I asked for the quiet rooms and I got: a family with 2 small children that were crying in the night and somebody who moved a furniture in the middle of night as well. I had to change my room with my mum as I really needed some sleep to be able to drive next day for 7 hours. The room/the towels were not as clean as I would expect for the 4 stars hotel - not going to write the details. They were not able to provide a fan while not having AC at all during the hot wave in the EU. The minibar created additional hot air to already stuffy room.
Review 2:Good location near to the Spa and the city center. WIFI working OK. Private parking (but paid extra).
Review 3:Warm welcome and very helpful receptionist about getting around town and transport facilities to Salzburg. Train station a mere 10-min walk away. Restaurants, cafés, shops nearby. The room (120) was large and comfortable. Wardrobes can be locked.Very spacious bathroom. Very copious breakfast.
Review 4:Dinner dining experience was marginal. Buffet was under par and tasted like reheated frozen dinners. We were rushed to eat as chef wanted to go home. Waitress barked at us to hurry and get our meal.
Review 5:Had a bad experience trying to grab a bite to eat at the lounge restaurant upstairs. A girl said that the cooks could not handle even a small order, and suggested we eat elsewhere.
Review 6:There was a play room for children next to the reception desk. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out.
Review 7:Biggest problem was the room size. So small that it became an issue when you brought your luggage in. We were there for 4 days and could never get a massage scheduled. The desk clerk told us when we asked the schedule massages right at our check in that they were booked. He did not even offer to bring in any outside help.
Review 8:Close to downtown and walking distance to shopping and dining. Walk to the therme in 3 minutes. Overall a great location.
Review 9:WiFi was most of the time unavaliable so do not count on internet during your stay at a hotel.
Review 10:Everything was excellent, staff very helpfull, room nice and clean, breakfast was especially good. The hotel is on a good and quite location.
Review 11:1) Personal at the reception and in the restaurant and lounge almost doesn't speak english. It was difficult to figure out anything or ask for anything. 2) There is no bath robe in the room despite there is swimming pool and spa. 3) There is no ceiling light, difficult to read 4) Very wet in bathroom, no air conditioning 5) Sometimes wi-fi didn't work
Review 12:1) Close to Thermes 2) The room is pretty big and there is a balcony with chairs and table.
Review 13:Nothing comes to mind.
Review 14:It was very difficult to fault this hotel. Rooms were reasonably spacious and well equipped, with good bathrooms and large balconies. The public spaces in the hotel were pleasant, and the whole place had a great level of attention to detail. It is geared up to serving the needs of families on holiday, often with three generations, but we did not feel out of place as a mature couple. Breakfast buffet excellent; we also partook of the dinner buffet (mainly set up for long stay half-board guests) as they were reasonably priced and good quality. Staff were efficient and friendly. Super location : next to the park and hence very close to the superb Rupertus Therme complex. I'd love to come again.

Review 27:Just a short walk from the centre of town, spotlessly clean, good buffet breakfast. Excellent staff who couldn't do enough for us
Review 28:I stayed twice in the side building. While it was good, it has a Ferienwohnung on the ground floor, which can be a bit noisy. Also in my opinion the cleaning of the building starts a bit early in the morning!, not a huge issue if you had planned to be up at the latest at 8, otherwise annoying, try and get a room on the 2nd floor to limit the noise level. But overall, very happy with both my stays.
Review 29:Swimming pool is really good. Staff is very friendly. The buffet for breakfast is really great.
Review 30:nothing. everything was wonderful!
Review 31:The people there were extremelly nice, informative, helpfull, bi-lingual, and corteous. The hotel is in wonderful location; quiet, green, residential area, next to Therms. Just five minutes of walking distance from the center of town. Parking is secure and underground. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Should be rated five stars. Breakfast and dinner both are available on-site, and both are fantastic.
Review 32:The hotel is oriented only to German speaking guests. Every info only in German, only staff at reception speaks English.
