Review 1：The bungalow smelt a little off but that is fairly typical in a hot humid country!

Review 2：The standard bungalows have unparalleled views of Arenal, the staff are extremely helpful and the food was very good for the price. Hot springs and pool are a nice addition as is the lethal but exciting trail down to the Arenal River. Easy access to activities and nature

Review 4：Loved the staff, I've never had such friendly and caring service in my life. Location, food and accommodations were very good, anything that didn't work was immediately fixed or replaced. Had a great time :)

Review 9：Quality of the first room (222) was completely unacceptable. Roomsmelled like urine, pillows like mildew, clearly hadn't been updatedin 20+ years, looked nothing like the photos on the website and worst ofall, the window a/c unit fell off the wall into the room and couldhave caused serious injury if someone was in that bed. Unfortunately forus we were told that was the absolute last room and we couldn'tswitch to another room that night.

Review 11：A bit of a disappointment when you get there as some travel guidesrecommend it as a romantic somewhat luxurious hotel. It isn't, it feelsmore like a large motel complex, which is fine when you know it before.However when compared to other hotels in the area and in Costa Rica,it's too expensive for what it is. Rooms are dated, have little charme,which again is fine if you pay less. The most annoying thing was thelack of Wifi in the rooms (there is only Wifi at the reception) whichwas one of my key criteria of choosing this hotel.
