Review 1：Location fine for us - but up a hill so perhaps not for those with mobility issues on foot. (There is parking though). For mobile very ideal location at top of main street down into town with cafe's shops restaurants and the Mosel.
Review 2：Super friendly owner - very helpful. Beautifully appointed flat with everything you need. Spacious and very clean. Good sized fridge. Freezer. Owner offered use of garage for bikes - very helpful. Great value.
Review 3：The place is clean and very well equiped, especially if you like to prepare you're own breakfast or dinner. The owners arranged a bed for our 2 month old baby.

Review 7：Beautiful and spotless apartment. Very spacious, comfortable and tasteful decoration and furniture. Kitchen looked great and all we needed to prepare meals was available. We were given a wine bottle as a welcome gift. Very close to town (just a 5 minutes walk and you're right in the center).

Review 11：Good facility with everything we need as a home house even with toothpick. :) Clean and comfortable! Lidia, the very friendly houseowner gave a wine as a welcome gift and another bottle of 2014 reiseling while checking out. We really enjoyed 2 days in Bernkastel-kuels at Haus am hang.
Review 12：The apartment is lovely and worked out well for our family traveling with two children. The couple that own it and live below are very nice. I enjoyed the walk into town and to the castle ruins.
Review 13：The owner spoke no English at all but luckily we could manage basic German. Wifi signal is weak in one of the bed rooms.
Review 14：The cooking facilities were excellent if you prefer to cook your own meals. Apartment was tastefully decorated and spotless. The place feels like a really cosy home. The owner welcomed us by carrying one of our luggage up to the 2nd floor. When we left, she again helped us to carry a luggage. Very friendly and warm lady. The apartment was also just a short walk to the town centre. We will certainly be back.

Review 17：It was a five minute walk into the town but not a big deal. Although there was a balcony, the view wasn't appealing unless you looked up at the trees and sky and not old buildings.
Review 18：The apartment was so clean, modern,spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen with nice dishes and glasses. The parking was free and easy and the WiFi worked. Owner didn't speak English but not difficult to figure out "this is the key etc" Even a free bottle of champagne and water included. Other bottles of wine available in refrigerator for purchase.
Review 19：First impression of the outside of the house could be improved as it needed a coat of paint. Also the view from the balcony was spoilt as the properties seen from there needed painting too.
Review 20：The apartment was a 5 minute walk from the town. The owner was very helpful although she spoke no English and we spoke no German. However we managed to communicate somehow. We also liked the daily walk up to the castle which we did as exercise to counteract all the love,y local wine we were drinking!
Review 21：Themonly concern we had was that there were two flights of stairs to the apartment. Given that the place was fantastic and very reasonably priced, this was not a major issue.
Review 22：Lydia is the owner, and she greeted us warmly. She is very friendly and helpful. She insisted on helping us carry our luggage up the two flights to the apartment. The place was spotless and had plenty of room. Very Comfortable ! It is a great place to stay, with all the comforts of home. Also, it was very quiet and an easy walk to the city center of town.

Review 24：Great location close to the old part of town. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, making sure everything was to our liking. They gave us all the privacy we could want, but at the same time we didn't feel like being guests at their place. I would recommend this place to everyone planning on taking a trip to wonderful Mosel.

Review 27：If you have walking disabilities then I have to mention the walk home has a continual gentle slope up to the house. Other than that no complaints at all.
Review 28：What a fantastic location. At the edge of a picturesque town with a short downhill walk to the Town centre and all the facilities that has to offer. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped and catered for 4 adults adaquately. We never had to take anything or purchase it there. Sufficient towels and linen items to hand. A selection of cleaning products, coffee and sugar were provided. The owner lives on site, which I wasn't aware of on booking. So arrival times are'nt a problem. I just let her know our expected arrival. She was also there helping unload our car. I found her to be a very friendly and helpful host. All in all we had a most enjoyable long weekend. Our group booked both apartments and no-one had any complaints. It really was a Jewel in Bernkastels Crown.
