Reviews for SeeVital Hotel Schiff
Review 1:Shower was a little dangerous, needs a handle for safety purposes. If your stay is longer than four days should request a different menu as only 4/5 main course are offered for shorter stays.
Review 2:Location was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and helpful, with special note to Andrea from the service. She went out of her way to help us. Food was excellent. Parking was convenient also. View from balcony was breathtaking.
Review 3:We booked the Junior suite which was more like a double room. Unfortunately I didn't feel it was value for money. The bed was two single beds put together and the could not offer another alternative.
Review 4:Amazing dinner! Great location. Unusually helpful and friendly staff willing to meet our needs - early checkin.
Review 5:Location, room was spacious and very comfortable, bathroom very very nice. Breakfast was good variety and plenty, staff all very very friendly and helpful
Review 6:For the new much increased charges I would expect aircon rooms. Less breakfast food choice than previous visits. Difficulty with having breakfast early at weekend.
Review 7:Location close to lake
Review 8:Uncomfortable bed, especially pillows of a very poor quality (does not comply with the four stars standard) The photo of the room doesn't match reality.
Review 9:location, friendly staff
Review 10:The hotel can put a simple slipper in the closet, it costs only 1 euro or 2. Minimum client care is missing in the room. Do not forget this is a 300 eur / night room.
Review 11:Good view over the lake, good breakfast, kind staff, room clean.
Review 12:Checkout a bit chaotic, long queue.
Review 13:Location on the shore of Lake Constance, close to shops, restaurants, ferry stop and train station. Hotel has been recently upgraded throughout.
Review 14:Very expensive for the price. We had booked partial lake view rooms, you had to stretch your neck out of the balcony to get lake view! Fruits run out at breakfast. Staff was ok but not very friendly. Rooms very hot, no fans, very noisy with windows open
Review 15:Good location and breakfast
Review 16:In our bathroom was a stain in the toilet... And our beds kept sliding a part as it wasnt a proper double bed.
Review 17:We both loved the fascilities you offered. We had a great bathroom, great time at breakfast... And we loved the spa. It was pouring with rain, but we made the most of it thanks to the services you provided and the incredible location.... I would definitely come back.
Review 18:No-one available after 10pm, aside from bar staff. Splashes around the sink from before my arrival were never cleaned. In fact, the daily cleaning of the room could have been better. No aircon and no flyscreen on patio door so difficult to stay cool without inviting the Lake's wildlife into the room. No English TV channels (not even news) and WiFi wasn't working (fortunately there was a pay for Telekom network available in my room. No pool, but nice spa. Asking for an iron seemed like an unusual request. Parking garage is a 5mins walk away.
Review 19:Hotel is newly decorated and looks great. Good location on Lake Constance and easy to get to Lindau / Friedrichshafen. For business travellers attending the Messer, always better to locate south of Friedrichshafen than north (traffic-wise). Bed was comfortable and shower was great. Little balcony very useful. Staff were friendly. Nice spa, but no pool. Parking available before 9am and after 6pm.
Review 20:The hotel should install hand rails on the stairs. If you slip there is nothing to grab onto. Note many people have their luggage with them on the stairs. It would have been nice to have a shelf in the shower to place your bath shampoo and soap.
Review 21:The location of the hotel direct on the water. The breakfast was outstanding. A great selection of quality food well presented.
Review 22:Being British, I would have liked tea making facility in bedroom, but I don't think this is normal in hotels in Germany? I would also have liked to have had an English version of the menu. But I was in Germany and that's not a complaint, it was my problem, just an observation. I was able to make a cuppa in the sauna suite however and that was nice!
Review 23:The hotel has been completely refurbished since my stay in 2012. The bedroom was comfortable and well appointed and the new sauna suite was superb. Buffet breakfast was excellent and evening meal very enjoyable, well presented and tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I could speak more German, will have to try to next time. I would certainly book again.
Review 24:Small room overlooking the market square
Review 25:The location is great
Review 26:Nothing
Review 27:Perfection & location
Review 28:No coffee maker in the room
Review 29:Sitting on the balcony enjoying the view
Review 30:Unprofessional staff at Reception desk and head waiter in restaurant.
Review 31:Location, fully refurbished. Bey Nice rooms
Review 32:Medium service, simple installations
Review 33:Nice view
Review 34:The common areas of facility were a bit "worn."
Review 35:The location was excellent being on the water and near the ferry landing.
Review 36:Check in 15.00/3PM
Review 37:Excellent location on Lake Constance, near the train for transportation.
Review 38:We absolutely feel in love with the hotel and the staff. Bravo to the visionary of this hotel. This is a must stay to anyone who is looking to get away from the grind of life.
Review 39:There were some problems with WiFi, because they were doing some kind of maintenance.
Review 40:The view from the lakeside rooms were excellent! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching Bodensee. The room itself was spacious and cozy. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Review 41:I didn't like having to go at the end of my short vacation.
Review 42:A quite modern Hotel very much my taste. Located at a perfect location. If one likes the lake view, make sure that you book a room with front lake view.
Review 43:- Internet (old fashion with tickets) - Massage (do never book a massage in this hotel) - staff is nice but a bit not really professional
Review 44:- the room - the surroundings - breakfast
Review 45:I was told that there wasn't enough room in the restaurant for eating a la carte in the evening, so I went out to eat at some other place in the evenings. At the end it turned out that this was a miscommmunication, and i could have eaten in the restaurant. A shame, as I really liked the food at the hotel. In the spa, the hot water kettle for tea was empty much of the time. The shower design seemed a little strange - half open, the floor around it got quite wet during showering, even when being careful not to splash too much water around... Leaning the door to the toilet against the shower seemed to help a little, but still. a little bit of a mystery! An information booklet or folder in the room would be helpful. I wanted to call reception but couldn't find the number to call. Also, being able to read up on opening times of the spa and the restaurant would have been helpful.
Review 46:The beautiful view from the room/balcony over the lake; The restaurant - the food was fresh and delicious, at all times; The friendliness of the staff; The flexibility regarding the times to check in and out All in all this was a very restorative and comfortable stay. Thank you!
Review 47:The perfect location closed to lake Constance, lake view rooms, Hotel in a historic village with castle, good service, perfect food and breakfast, . . .
Review 48:The hotel (what a surprise) has changed names (and I think owners). It is now called the SeeVital Hotel (we walked right by it without knowing). When we were there they were still working on some of the remodeling. Our room on the first floor had a great view and good air circulation but unfortunately the lake side deck was shared with the people next door and the hotel staff serving dinner outside so privacy was rather tricky.
Review 49:The view on Lake Constance was spectacular. With an excellent location (right on the lake shore) there was always a delightful breeze blowing. The restaurant was very good.
Review 50:The hotel's location can't be any better - right by the lake, in the center of Langenargen (by shops, restaurants and the farmers market), and 2 min walk to the ferry. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and with amazing views of the lake and if no fog, the mountains. One of few places that could accommodate us traveling with two children.
Review 51:We had a wonderful view of Lake Constance from our terraced room. The resort town provided lovely walks throughout and along the lakeshore.
Review 52:atmospherre
Review 53:Wifi in room 202 was very poor.
Review 54:location, staff, breakfast, room, clean, view
Review 55:No Coffee macking facilities in room. Poor Parking
Review 56:Friendly and helpful Receptionist and Staff in general
