Hotel Der Salzburgerhof sells fast on our site. Opened in December 2013, Der Salzburgerhof is located right in Bad Hofgastein’s pedestrian zone, 1,000 feet from the Alpentherme Thermal Spa. All rooms come with mountain views, and free WiFi is available. A free hiking and ski bus to the Schlossalmbahn Cable Car stops 50 feet away.
Each room features a flat-screen cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Most of the rooms boast a balcony.
A rich breakfast buffet is offered every morning, and the restaurant serves regional and international cuisine in an Alpine-style atmosphere. In summer, guests can relax on the Salzburgerhof’s terrace and enjoy home-made cakes and a coffee, or they can have a drink at the lounge.

Review 1：The staff were mostly unhelpful and at times rude,struggling to speak English. Breakfast had a very small variety and lacked fresh foods. The room was tiny and the bed very uncomfortable. The house keeping did not do a very good job of cleaning the room. The WiFi was free, but very slow and often crashed.

Review 2：The location of the hotel was good - right in the centre of Bad Hofgastein. There was an alright restaurant in the hotel, it had a small menu, however a couple tasty dishes. There was a ski room where storage was free of charge for the guests. Our room had a balcony with the view of the mountains.

Review 5：At night I felt a little cold, even though the radiators were warm. Lift is at the mezzanine and a little bit too small - if you have more luggage, you will need to carry multiple times.

Review 6：The hotel is located in the city center, which has been beautifully decorated for christmass time. The view from the balcony of the mountains and the village is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful, parking provided, free wifi.The hotel is renovated, the rooms are small but nice decorated and clean. Upon arrival, a welcome drink is waiting for you. Breakfast is high quality, wide selection of dishes, which is very commendable! The staff at a la cart dinner was very professional, friendly, food is excellent! I recommend the Sunday specialty mmm delicious! Good restaurant with nice ambient, recommended to have a meal even if you are not staying at the hotel!

Review 7：Stayed, the 2nd time. Booked a single room and got a double room. Breakfast has lots of cjoices, including eggs made as you like it. WIFI is fast. Will stay here again.

Review 8：The hotel staff was nice and friendly and helped us a lot. Reception staff Sascha and Gizen were very friendly as well as the restaurant team. The hotel located in an excellent location in the center of town .

Review 10：The personnel at the restaurant was poor. We had to ask several times for coffee, the table wasnt clothed properly, even though there wasn't much going in the waiters weren't friendly or forthcoming.

Review 12：Room was a bit small, but we knew that beforehand There was no AC in the room. We were lucky to have reasonable temperatures outside, but few more degrees and AC would have been a must.

Review 13：Hotel is located right in the center of Bad Hofgastein and has a very nice restaurant (everything we tried was very good) There's a small river flowing right next to the hotel, which gives a soothing, relaxing sound. Room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. Rich, healthy breakfast. Staff was very helpful in offering advice on which sites to visit in the area and how to reach them.

Review 14：We stayed for a long ski weekend here and could not recommend it more. The hotel arranged easy transfers from the airport (not too pricey) and when we arrived at reception we were informed we had been given a free upgrade!!! Unfortunately a piece of our luggage failed to arrive at the airport. The staff in the hotel really put in the extra mile in dealing with the airlines and airports to ensure the luggage was delivered to the hotel ASAP. I was very impressed by the service all round.

Review 15：The elevator is very small and stops between floors so you have to carry your luggage up/down stairs. The closest parking is not free(very cheap though, 3€/day) but 50 m uphill. The free parking is some 300m uphill, way too far. Other hotels in the area have free and direct access to the local Thermes. The breakfast was average. No fridge/cooler in the room. The reception closes at 22:00.

Review 17：Location is great, ski bus stops literally at the doorstep. Newly renovated hotel, comfortable and everything is at hand. Half board is very good, the 4 course menu is tasty and just enough. The staff is nice and friendly, the restaurant service personnel is thoughtful and professionel. The wifi is free of charge and the quality is excellent everywhere in the hotel.

Review 19：The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was very warm and comfortable with a bath and a south facing large balcony, free wifi and ample cupboard space. Breakfast was delicious with a large selection of fruited, breads, jams, cooked sausages, bacon, egg every which way. Good coffee! All in all, a very lovely experience staying in this hotel in the centre of this beautiful typical Austrian spa town.

Review 32：Hotel was newly renovated at the end of 2013. Everything new and tastefully done. It's central position is a added benefit. I find the Gästein card for bus reductions very useful. Sat outside listening to the live traditional music in the evening created a great atmosphere.
