Review 1：This is a truly individual hotel, and the location is second to none. The hotel owner truly cares about your stay in his hotel. This is not a formula hotel, so if you need that kind of place to stay, maybe it is not for you.
Review 2：ROOM - We had the “superior apartment” which was very "designer" but a bit more style over substance. The hot tub in the centre of the room was a bit strange and would be a bit difficult for someone with reduced mobility to get into as were the open plan stairs to the second floor bedroom. The tub caused water to go all over the floor. The photo showed a separate shower cubical in addition to the bath, but we didn’t have this. The apartment was advertised as having a kitchenette with kitchenwares and a kettle. Only things included were a fridge, hotplate and two wine glasses – nothing else. The manager seemed reluctant for us to cook, but after we promised not to cook anything that smelt, he brought us a tray with a small saucepan, plates and knives and forks, which was just about enough. BREAKFAST – Food was good, but we were charged for the breakfast and I later realised it was included in the room price.
Review 3：LOCATION – Easy to find, easy to park car. Lovely, quiet location right on the lake. Short walk to town/waterfront/castle. ROOM – Spacious open plan room, good view of lake SERVICE – Helpful friendly manager who spoke good English. Staff in adjacent restaurant very nice.
