Review 1：Parking across the street, because employees had parked in the lot

Review 2：The location, the breakfasts, rooms, all fantastic. Parking was tight, the employees should park across the street, not the guests.

Review 3：The bedding felt rather dated, the duvets were very thin so we felt a bit cold at night.

Review 7：Very popular hotel - for obvious reasons - and I would have loved to stay an entire week, but rooms were booked.

Review 8：Where do I begin?...from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like a family member returning home - this was our first stay. Walking in we had a reserved breakfast table for 8 (without asking)...the food was unbelievable...like something out of a movie. The wonderful staff that greeted us was so very friendly and outgoing. We had arrived very late from Paris, and were afforded an exceptionally late check out in order to catch up on sleep. The rooms were very modern and spotlessly clean. Did I mention the view? Overwhelmingly beautiful in August...rolling landscape dotted with small farmhouses and rows of corn stretching up the mountain. I wanted to stay another night just to soak up more of the hotel hospitality and the beauty of Glottertal. 11 out of 10!!

Review 9：I stepped into the shower in the evening and as soon as water hit the floor the shower turned into the most slippery surface I have ever encountered. I started to slip uncontroliby and fell and broke my middle toe of my right foot!,, When I told management they were indifferent.

Review 12：On quite a busy road....but our expansive room had a nice, large balcony above a fast-flowing stream, so we went to sleep with the delightful sound of a babbling brook. Superb new bathroom, lovely bed....and the biggest room we found on our German trip. Nice restaurant, free breakfast and close to Black Forest

Review 21：The hotel rises beside a river and some of the rooms have little terraces facing it. Beautiful! Huge and clean bathroom.

The service staff in general was substandard for this hotel compared with other Glottertal hotels we have stayed at many times.

I like to eat in the restaurant at least once each visit because it's very good. The breakfast is also excellent. I love this place.

Review 65：We have stayed in several hotels in Glottertal and the Schlossmuhle is without doubt the nicest yet! The staff are ver friendly; the rooms are very clean and of a good size; the location is excellent for touring the Schwarzwald area and the breakfast is delicious.

The room was spacious with a large balcony facing the forest and thesound of the watermill a few meters away from our room made a veryrestful and pleasant background "music" which was magical with thewindow open. The hotel staff were very friendly,helpful and extremelyefficient and we were served a bountiful breakfast with an almostendless choice of fresh ingredients in a pleasant and friendlyatmosphere. The restaurant adjoining the hotel in a traditional halftimbered ('Fachwerk') building serves excellent traditional Germancuisine and local wine next to the small stream and watermill. Wedefinitely would rate this hotel as "excellent" in every respect andrecommend it highly and without reservation. A perfect place to stay fora visit to the beautiful region and a great place for walkers, hikersand mountain bikers who want enjoy nature, relax and be treated to aspecial experience.

Review 68：A charming country hotel with almost everything you expect and wouldlike to have in a black forest accomodation. The double rooms (and webelieve they have nothing else) are almost suites with big modernbathrooms and nicelyfurniushed country style or modern. The breakfastbuffet is rich and offers delicious products of the region. How therestaurant is for dinner we can't say. It was Wednesday when therestaurant is closed. There is ample parking. The hotel is easy to befound since it is located on the main street. Don't worry, the trafficis light and not disturbing.

It works well too. They havestone oven heating in the restaurant with seats around it so it is verynice to sit against on a cold winterday. Waitresses are dressed in'blackforrest dress'. Gives an authentic touch. The backside rooms lookout on a small mountain river and have a terras. Must be nice in thesummer. You can get free tickets at the hotel for local transport toFreiburg (bus+train). Quite at night.
