Review 2：The room was large and comfortable with an open log fire. There was a very large jacuzzi in the bathroom which easily fit 2 people. Family run hotel with great friendly service. Food in the restaurant was good too.

Review 3：very accurate renovation of the building, silent and relaxing place to spend few days or just one night. Small spa with all comforts, perfect for a couple or few friends. Really good restaurant, beautiful library with a fire place. Staff really kind and helpful.

We had a birthday party dinner and all our guests were impressed with the restaurant food and service. We will return again :-)

Review 17：A lovely hotel. Peaceful and restful, with very comfortable and attractive rooms. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. A real place to relax and unwind. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the coast is just a short drive away.

Review 18：The Hotel had not yet undergone maintenance for the new season: - Hangers in the toilet need to be screwed into the wall better. - The toilet had a smell of sewage when water was running. Management was in the process of fixing it. - Parts of the Hotel were being renovated Changes from 1st visit 2 years ago: - Chef changed but menu stayed the same. Food is not as awesome as it was. - Masseuse changed. Massage is not as awesome as it was. Sauna could be hotter.

The small size of the Hotel (and the off-season visit) allows for a great feeling of privacy + Great service by friendly staff + Great exotic mud bath room, especially when sharing it alone with your partner. + Great common living room with nice music, fireplace, sofas and a library. + Great LCD TV in the room where you can hook up your PC over HDMI and watch your movies in the Super King size bed.

Impeccable, warm and friendly service. And the magnificent, couch studded library--every booklover's dream. If you want to feel right at home but have some one else do the dishes, stay here. A gem. Katerina and her sisters know how to welcome a stranger.

Review 28：We are totally satisfied with our choice. The location was perfect: a small, typical village up the hill with a neolithic site at 2,5km walking distance (called Kalavassos - Tenta). The 3 sisters managing the Hotel are the best! The Restaurant is nice and cozy and the library is very relaxing.

Review 37：The hotel is very quiet, excellent for resting, reading a book close to the pool or in the library. Centrally located in the island. The food is very good. The staff is very helpful. When we arrived we noticed that we could not connect our devices to the plug in the wall, and they immediately gave us a couple of adaptors.

Review 38：1. Swimming pool was not actually a swimming pool. It was a whirlpool that could barely fit two people in. Worse, it was very dirty the whole time. None of the guests used it while we were there. 2. Extremely poorly staffed. There was one girl that was responsible for reception, waitressing, everything really. So the service was not what you would expect though the girl did the best she could. You would expect with the money they get that it would be worth employing one more person to help them out. 3. The toilet had a disgusting smell coming out of it (sewage smell). We saw others comment on this in their reviews but we did not think it would be that bad- well, it was! 4. General lack of attention to detail. For example, one small bottle of body wash for two people...the restaurant food was not what you would expect despite the advertisement. We had onion soup which was so salty we couldn't eat it- even though we both love salt in our food.

Review 79：The photos listed of the hotel were highly inaccurate. Our room was farfrom the glamour we expected. Our room was unclean. The towels were old,hard and faded. The facilities were minimal and there was only one ortwo members of staff made to carry out multiple roles.

The hotel has definite potential but has a way to go to justify the general ratings given. The sauna was not hot, shower taps were not working and the steam room never reached a temperature which made me sweat. The hotel is relatively expensive by Cyprus standards and I did not consider it particularly good value for money.

Review 89：Great hotel with very nice decoration and atmosphere. The very big plus point of the hotel is that it is family run with very friendly staff, lots of professionalism, attention to detail and cleanliness! The food in the restaurant is very delicious.

Review 92：We were disappointed when returning to our room the first day we found out that the bed was not made up properly and our bathrobes (although placed on the floor) were not replaced. Wi-fi signal not very stable. Also outdoor communal areas, not very well preserved/cleaned. These are issues which can be easily tackled with some attention to detail.

Review 93：Hospitality is the strong point of this hotel. The three sisters running it are extremely polite, willing and helpful. Also, the food served at the Mitos restaurant within the hotel is really tasty and well-presented. Make sure you taste the Library special salad!

Review 94：Although the decor was for the most part quite nice, some aspects were lacking: the lighting of the communal areas was very "cold", the restaurant and outdoor areas weren't particularly cozy (apart from the library, which was nice), the lighting in the dining room was terrible and a bit depressing. It's also nice that an old building was restored for the hotel premises.The dinner was quite good, and good value for money. Review 111：Late party next to room causing too much noise, fruits on the floor, ants in water kettle, after cleaning/after previous residents. Room was ready 5.00pm to enter, glasses/kettle/tea in the room but no water - was charged extra for it. Breakfast could have a bit more variety. Nothing that can't be fixed without a bit more attention.

But you are sooverwhelmed with all the rest that you may not even notice it.Also the only spa treatment available is the Swedish massage. I think since it is called wellness retreat it would be better to add some other treatments in the menu.
