Review 2:Location close to Berncastle centre.
Review 3:Parking is a nightmare....Thank goodness we reserved a parking place for our car! Well worth the 5 euro a day cost!!

Review 5:Would have loved to have had a fan in the room. Super hot during our stay without any air circulation
Review 6:Fantastic location in Bernkastel. Charming charming charming!!
Review 7:Good breakfast, nice warm room with plenty of space, excellent shower. In the centre of the pedestrian zone, near the river and tourist information office.
Review 8:Staff weren't available at reception after morning to answer questions , I assume they were working in the restaurant. They need to place someone on reception duty on a more full time basis.
Review 9:Location, breakfast & facilities.
Review 10:Absolutely nothing ! My stay was just wonderful !
Review 11:I have really enjoyed my stay at this hotel which I found conveniently located next to the Bernkastel landmarks as well as the port with boat trips. The Junior Suite is really spacious and nicely appointed. Very clean throughout and the mattress was so really comfortable. The breakfast was served by a very Professional & welcoming Lady with a choice of German meat & cheese platter, boiled & scrambled eggs as well as a nice selection of freshly baked breads & mini croissants. A Must stay when in Bernkastel !
Review 12:Central Location. Lovely Germanic ambiance.
Review 13:Great location. Wonderful staff. Good value.
Review 14:nothing

Review 16:Could not get a drink from the restaurant or bar after 9 30pm
Review 17:Location. Rooms spacious. Very clean
Review 18:Comfortable room and the staff was excellent.
Review 19:3 flights of stairs (no lift). Very Basic rooms.
Review 20:Very Clean, breakfast was ok. In a good position.
Review 21:The staff were very good. We had our own bathroom. We had a deck with an excellent view of the square
Review 22:Super location!
Review 23:The attitude from one in the staff was not the very best. Not good to argue with the customer.
Review 24:Terrible breakfast
Review 25:Good location. Ok room.
Review 26:The room doesn't match the outside charm of the hotel. Very bad taste decoration that lack the quality you can expect.
Review 27:Nothing
Review 28:Staff, food and hotel were excellent, location was in center of town so only a short 2 minute walk to car park.
Review 29:It was a pity that we stayed on the day the restaurant was closed : Tuesday.(but they recommended and reserved an excellent resto close by)
Review 30:The beds were good, the shower worked perfectly, Breakfast was good and we were given a warm welcome. Bernkastel is fantastic town to visit.
Review 31:We travelled with 4 adults and a young child, we booked a large room in th attic with a double bed and a sofa bed, we were surprised to be given an exta room with a double bed at no extra cost that made the stay much more enjoyable. excellent breakfast, great place to explore the Mosel from.
Review 32:Breakfast could have been better.
Review 33:We were given the 'apartment' which worked really well for our young family (7, 5 and 1 yr-old). It does have a lot of stairs but that didn't really bother us. There is a lovely (communal) balcony overlooking the square which served for a lovely spot for lunch (sandwiches and Riesling without the stress of being in a restaurant with the kids) and a quiet game of backgammon in the evening whilst the kids were in bed (next door). The town itself is delightful. Not too small to be boring but not too big to be noisy/crowded. Walk up to the castle....it's a lovely walk, great views and a smart restaurant just below. We used Bernkastel as a base whilst we travelled along the Mosel and always wanted to go 'home'. We didn't know this before we went and feel we got lucky with our choice of place to stay. The staff are pleasant and helpful enough. Breakfast is ok. No lift, lots of stairs but not a problem for us. The rooms are very basic but big, (very) clean and it is an excellent price for such a good location. There are comments about the parking being too far away. This wasn't a problem for us. It really is only a 3 minute walk and there is a closer 'drop-off' area.
Review 34:everything fine really but no mention that there was no lift. That wasn't a problem for us but not everyone our age can manage two flights of stairs!!
Review 35:perfect situation in middle of old town Really authentic old german atmosphere
Review 36:Some distance to carry luggage from the hotels dedicated parking area.Noelevator, but if that bothers you book a room on the first floor,we did.
Review 37:This one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in,it is immaculate.Perfect location right in the centre of Bernkastel. Well run familyowned hotel with lots of input from owners. Fabulous resturaunt withlots of traditional German dishes on the menu at very reasonableprices, and needless to say hugw German portions.
Review 38:We were only here for one evening and were greeted by a senior member of staff who obviously could not wait to finish his shift. He was abrupt and very off about us asking for the WIFI password, actually saying he's not sure and complaining that 'well it's an 800 year old building' - meaning, what should we expect? Would it not be better to say 'very sorry, we don't have it' and keep it simple? After looking at him with our mouths open in shock, he took the hint and 'found out' then miraculously manged to produce a WIFI receipt for a short amount of time which did not work at all. Sure enough he had disappeared for the evening before we could rectify. The next day we asked a different person and she was more useful, rebooting the modem and hey presto - it worked! We arrived late and really did need it to sort out our next moves along the Rhein and book other hotels you see. The breakfast, for such a huge grand establishment with a restaurant that serves to the public, was incredibly POOR and very minimal. Really shocking and tight-fisted. It is honestly a beautiful hotel, shame about the UNWELCOMING and POMPOUS member of staff.
Review 39:It was noisy at night. It was an unusually hot summer in Germany andthere is no ac (but most European hotels do not have ac)
Review 40:Very nice hotel, good breakfast, and comfortable bed. Internetonly in lobby.
Review 41:My family was given the very last rooms on the top floor. These rooms were hot (in July) and it was hard to climb all the stairs. Parking places were not near and they were hard to find. Too expensive stay given these shortcomings.
Review 42:Beautiful house full of atmosphere. Situated right in the middle of the fantastic city.
Review 43:The negative thing about bring right smack in the middle of Old Town is the noise at night. Bring ear plugs!
Review 44:It is located right in the old town which is convenient. Nice room and breakfast had plenty to choose from.
Review 45:Wifi only in the reception. When we arrived to breakfast (20 min beforeclosing), it looked a bit sad.
Review 46:Nice and personal, very cozy and beautiful building and surrondings.Nice showers and very cute rooms!
Review 47:Situated centrally in a picturesque and very old town. Parking was a bit of a walk from the hotel but then they did not have cars when the hotel was built. Rooms all well appointed, breakfast excellent, staff so friendly in making sure we enjoyed our stay.
Review 48:Some of the rooms are small, especially on the third floor (where the roof juts into most parts of the room).
Review 49:Staff was nice and accommodating. They provided our group of 10 friends with a back room to have drinks at, even though they had a NYE buffet dinner going on. The location of this hotel is right in one of the main walkplatz's, which is very convenient for holidays such as new years because the celebration is literally right outside.
Review 50:I really did not like the two single mattress's and two single duvetcovers on a double framed bed not ideal for a couple at all, verydisappointed. Another little tip for the owners, if they could turn theheat on the room before our arrival that would have made a bigdifference.
Review 51:I liked the old fashion design of the hotel and the room tied un reallywell with the feel of the town.
Review 52:We reserved a parking space, but all spaces were taken when we tried to park.
Review 53:Quite efficient and accommodating. Food in restaurant was superb. Lovely breakfast buffet included. Location was perfect.
Review 54:We stayed at the Moselblümchen with my parents for two nights and loved the location. The rooms we had were large with a bedroom area and another area with a sofa and table. Both areas in each room had a TV. No minibar but there was a couple of wine glasses and bottle opener for any wine you bought and wanted to drink. The bar next door was lively but not disruptive.
Review 55:My husband and I visit bernkastel-kues quite frequentlyThe Moselblumchen is one of our three favorite hotels that we stay in while we're there! The hotel is excellent and the staff is even better and you can't beat the location--it's in the center of town!
Review 56:Difficult to find by driving. Parkin.
Review 57:The central location!
Review 58:Location was excellent!
Review 59:Smell of smoke in room.
Review 60:A lovely hotel with lots of features. Friendly staff and excellent food. Great location in this must see picture perfect town.
Review 61:I can't say anything bad about it!
Review 62:The location was perfect in the town center. Clean. Great restaurant and fantastic breakfast!
Review 63:Location
Review 64:Perfekt beliggenhet.
Review 65:Our room was extremely small on the top floor. I couldnt even walk straight (188cm).
Review 66:great location in the beutiful old town
Review 67:Parking was limited
Review 68:Old style
Review 69:loud people in the street at nights. Small bathroom.
Review 70:central location in heart of medieval town. Nice food, large plates.
Review 71:Did not use the Restaurant apart from Breakfast. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.
Review 72:Location was great .... right in the heart of the town.
