Review 1：The location is only a 30 minute drive from Europa park. The room was clean with a real double bed, not 2 singles pushed together as you often find in Europe. The staff was friendly and helpful. When there was a problem with the room, we were given another room with no fuss. The surrounding village is picturesque by day.
Review 2：A bit hot in the summer, even though we had a small ventilator.
Review 3：It was a very nice place kept in the traditional style. We borrowed a babybed and we're able to relax on the balcony at the end of the hall while our son was asleep. Very friendly management and great breakfast.
Review 4：The weather was very hot during our brief stay, and it was stiffling in the room, hard to sleep. But nothing can do when it only gets this hot 1-2 weeks every year in Germany.
Review 5：Good room, proper double bed, one mattress. Shower and bathroom in good shape, clean, and everything worked perfectly. Resturant attached to the hotel is gormet, Bulkan and German food served. Recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Free parking. For 1.5 euro, get a ticket for unlimited use of all the bus and trains in the area, which is most of the Black Forest.

Review 17：I was quite surprise because there was nobody at the reception who can speak any word of English, even breakfast or name to register us. The bed was really uncomfortable and there was no soup or shampoo in the bathroom. The breakfast was really poor, i wasn't expected so much but there was only eggs, some cheese and cereals. There was not croissants, yogurts, fruits, toast... We payed 70 euros and I think it is quite expensive considered that the breakfast was small and it is quite far from freiburg.
