Review 1：Weak wifi in our room at the end of the hall.
Review 2：Great place to stay as a picky Gringo in South America. Well built, clean, modern, best location, and all at a decent price. The staff is very willing to help although they can be a little distracted during high volume. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and the beach is a couple blocks away. The town of Santa Marta is cheaper than Cartagena which is a plus. You gotta eat at Donde Chuchos if you stay here... Fantastic sea food in large portions at moderate prices.
Review 3：Although with the price they changed the price to that which was agreed on booking.com and at the checkin. They raised the price and we had to pay more which was very disappointing.

Review 7：My wife and I spend 3 days at El Rodadero, near Santa Marta Colombia. We choose booking.com for their reputation in choosing excellent facilities. We were not disappointed. from the outside Del Mar (means near sea) Hotel look small but is huge inside. Top of the line facilities. the bedroom very modern, new European style shower fixtures and a huge shower. We enjoy the huge shower head above our heads like rain falling. The staff very friendly accommodating and asking if there is anything else we need. The free breakfast is a served breakfast at their breakfast dinning located in the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean. The friendly waitresses take your order. Anything you want, eggs benedict, bacon sausage, or their famous "Arepas" made of corn meal deep fried or on the “parrilla” grill . With butter they are delicious. These are included with the room rate. Del Mar is just exactly one block away. From the front door you walk right to the beach. Our attraction to El Rodadero is that the sea water is clean and clear and most of all being a “Bay” is like being in a pool. No waves. Expect temperatures at night in the upper seventies with plenty of breeze from the ocean and the “Andes Mountains” a huge chain of mountain that begging in Santa Marta by El Rodadero and ends in Chile South America. Day time temperatures in the upper 80’s but breeze, Is tolerable.Del Mat hotel offers something else than no other Hotel in the United States or Europe offers. Free Medical service for all the hotel guest. I got the flu the second day I arrived. Running a high fever and cold chills. My wife call the front desk to located a Pharmacy. When she told the clear I was ill with the flu he said we offer free emergency care to all our clients I will call “AMI’ a paramedics like in the US. They came in their ambulance measure my vitals and immediately prescribed the medications to stop my fever, cold chills , runny nose.

Review 11：Staff is absolutely amazing. They make you feel at home. The beach is half a block away from the hotel, and the hotel has 24/7 security. The rooms and bathrooms are great! They have all the commodities: hot water, nice, clean towels, comfy beds, super cold a/c, black-out, a window towards the main road where you can see and hear all the action going on outside, and you can find ANYTHING you want within walking distance. Hotel Del Mar is THE place to stay at El Rodadero. I couldn't be more pleased.

Review 14：Big rooms, but sadly empty, not a dryer, not a hangar, not a safe. Breakfast so slow that you can't be in a hurry. Swimming pool still being constructed. Overpriced.
Review 15：Beds are big and comfortable, all is new though pretty cold. Location is ok, but this city is so ugly that best location is actually the farthest possible from it.
