Review 6：We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Toronto and around the world over the last 20 years on business and leisure trips - The Trump International in Toronto stands out alone in all of those for the can-do willing attitude and friendliness of the front of house staff - from every doorman, bell boy and receptionist - never experienced anything quite like it - markedly different and made our stay. Well done to all the staff and thank you!

Review 7：The attitude of the bar tender Diana was not at the least what I expected from a chain like this.. She was rude and yelled at me to wait .. While I was trying to get her attention when I waved.. She was rude to my daughter and embarrassed me on my 50 th birthday . I was made to feel very uncomfortable and stressed .. But yet I still tipped her. Not in my opinion excellent customer service skills .. She needs some sort of anger management training or to learn how to aquire patients.

Review 8：The bedding was comfortable .. The heated floors wonderful perk.. Tv in the mirror excellent feature.. Loved the smart room features of lighting curtains closing etc. Fire place therapeutic to look st while relaxing.

Review 9：One big problem is the entrance of the hotel. It is not grand. You have to pass thru some construction on the street to get to it. The revolving door is not automatic and is narrow and uncomfortable. Most of the time the doormen were lazy and you have to push the very heavy revolving door by yourself. Half of the staff in the lobby didn't smile when they greet you. The building is kind of old. The crowd can be noisy and crowded in the small lobby since this is a big hotel. To me, the lobby alone cannot be qualified as a 5-star hotel.

Absolutely amazing and perhaps it was the exchange rate but for what you are getting - an amazing room in a breathtaking hotel in a fabulous location - it was incredible value. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, try it and be spoilt for other hotels forever..!

Review 29：From the moment you arrive you feel welcome. The staff and crew at Trump have a refined sense of what service is all about. Everything is about attitude and Trump has all of it covered. A special mention to Ali who went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay extra special.

Review 32：Room was expensive despite being pretty bare bones. It was extremely difficult to control the temperature in the room, was either too cold or too hot always. Bathroom was always freezing cold.

Review 40：A fly in our suit, compliant number of times each time I was told it's removed, but it was still in our suit everyone we come back until we left! Hotel doesn't including breakfast, because there dont even have a buffet breakfast in the hotel apart from Sunday. The staff are so polite and helpful but don't get anything done for you. the hotel policy is, if you didnt make you booking directly with the hotel, they wouldn't do anything for you!

The rooms are beautiful however I do not like to sit in the suite during the day. Both bars are on the small size and can be over crowded, one night I could not fine a seat and gave up on having a drink with my son as I do not like to stand due to health issues.

Review 63：Breakfast room staff- too casually dressed and some new recruits require further training. Woken at 2am by a fire alarm- no follow through next morning from management to check guests had not been overly in convenienced. Sofa bed- a tad uncomfortable and in need of overhaul.

Review 69：we didn't like the fire alarm going off at 12am for a good half hour - didn't no what was happening for about 10mins then reception made an announcement they were waiting for the fire dept! when we said the next morning what was going on during the night they told us, said sorry and just sent us up some chocolates that night ! not much of a compensation for frightening the life out of the 3 of us!

Review 70：hotel was lovely, staff so good couldn't do enough for you, great views of Toronto from the swimming pool, free wifi, tea,coffee & water and fruit in your room. no need to bring toiletries there all there for you. plenty of cleb's staying here and they had filming of the "Suits" going on while we were there. front desk staff very knowledgeable and gave good advice. location excellent, you just go out the door 1 way and you go to the harbour, the other way and your at the shopping centre.

Review 71：The restaurant decor was disappointing...All the decora seemed amature at best. The main door drop off area is a rediculas design that barly functions... The lobby is plain and cheep We wount stay there again because there are other more interesting places in town for the price. But it was restfull... The materials and design used in the resurant are so unsuitable for thier function... Floor is scratched.... Chairs look 20 years old because they are chipped... All the captain chair arms are damaged from hitting the edge of the tables ...bathroom lighting in front of the mirror is critical for our women ... The suites fail miserably at this. I don't want to have to put my reading glasses on while I'm in the shower to figure out which is the shampoo.... Is there any good reason why the words need to be so small... Like a number four font.... Who do you think your guests are? We all have electronics that need charging... And many of us like them near us... Like next to the bed... Why do we need to go down to our hands an knees to plug in your phones... And then leave them on the floor... HELLO really ? Recepticals above the night stands aren't pretty but they sure are nessisary ... Form must follow function when it comes to room infrastructure ....glad shelves above the coffee station look great...when they get dusted .. Ours hadn't been for some time and make the whole place "feel" dirty... When you forget this you loose return customers.
