Review 1：Breakfast a bit light ( no water, no sweets) despite very good products; The bathroom was a bit small ( door was slamming into the toilet); Strange smell in the room maybe because it is new ? Water from the shower was spilling on the floor; Sauna only open from 4PM to 7PM, Check-out until 10 AM is a bit stressful to achieve !

Review 5：It was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel was modern having been recently fully renovated, the location was good and the staff could not have been more helpful. and pleasant. The town and the surround was a wonderful place to visit and the GAMS hotel was an excellent place to stay.

Situated on the edge of Oberstdorf, which is a lively place, even end of May, as opposed to many alpine destinations. 5 minute walk to the centre, yet situated in a quiet street, except for some buses and cows passing by. Supermarket around the corner. Oberstdorf is surrounded by impressive mountains which offer many options for hiking, 5 cable cars are included in the hotel price. Several excellent restaurants are situated on walking distance. We can recommend Traube (frequented by local guests, live music, nice Biergarten), Das Jagdhaus (great food, made with local ingredients) and Maximillians (excellent wining and dining). We will definitely visit Gams again.
