Reviews for Seehotel Litz
Review 1:Given the normal temperatures around the lake in summertime, we would have expected a 4 star hotel to have air conditioning and it didn't. Also, no tea or coffee facilities in the room.
Review 2:It was in an ideal location for visiting all the areas around the lake.
Review 3:Booked a family suite, which included four beds. When checking out got charged an extra €17 per day for a children's bed, which was already permanently in the room (along with another bed, which wasn't even used!) Total rip off.....
Review 4:Excellent location, great modern look to the hotel and rooms
Review 5:not really good breakfast. no room service, because they did not have enough people I can not imagine a 4 Stars hotel without it.
Review 6:Location, beautiful view, Room
Review 7:No A/C in the rooms, which made it uncomfortable in 30+ degree weather.
Review 8:Wonderful location, perfect if attending an event at Schloss Montfort. The lake is lovely, there are bike rentals nearby and you can spend a day exploring, or just having a swim and an ice cream. Don't expect a lot of English, but everyone will be friendly and make their best efforts!
Review 9:We booked for 2 adults and 3 children. When we arrived we only had 3 beds. I explained this to the staff and was told they could only fit in 1 extra bed. I accepted this as the best they could do and 2 children shared a bed, with the 3rd on a mattress on the floor. There was a second floor to the room, which was nice but was completely empty except for a giant couch. It felt like the room wasn't finished. Hardly any furniture, no kettle, tea cups, iron etc.
Review 10:the bathroom was nice and big
Review 11:Rented 2 rooms for same price. One had been fully refurbished with very large modern bath room. The other was much smaller and had a very small and old bathroom. For the same price, I would expect the same level of accommodation.
Review 12:nice modern rooms. Quiet hotel.
Review 13:No tea or coffee making facilities in the room
Review 14:Great location with lake views and a good bar next door
Review 15:No WiFi reception in room but it worked fine in reception area.
Review 16:Good base for Bodensee. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Review 17:Bad houskeeping. Staff is not caring at all. No wifi in my room.
Review 18:Nice room with nice view.
Review 19:Transportation to the hotel
Review 20:Bed and breakfast
Review 21:The room was not what I expected (very small), but it was adequate forwhat I needed. I was confused by the checkin process (not sure if thisconsistent for Germany), but I arrived late in the day and the hotelcheck in was closed. I was directed to go to another hotel to check in.If the hostess had not still been there to give me directions, I wouldhave been at a loss as to how to get to my room.
Review 22:Location was in walking distance of where I needed to be and close tothe train. The hotel was right on the water. Very nice area.
Review 23:Staff didn't manage to say "good morning" or give us a feeling to be welcome at all. Toilet in Junior Suite not "relaxing" due to the frantic design. No save on the room and hotel save at the reception not large enough for laptops.
Review 24:Junior Suite and its view above the lake. Accessable by train (300m)
Review 25:Wlan is not accessible from all rooms! Some rooms have more difficultaccessibility, as you have to walk through a maze of corridors, down andup stairs to get there. This was not a problem for us but the hotelshould be more transparent about this in the communication with itscustomers during the booking process!
Review 26:The view over Bodensee were definitely a highlight Good location just infront of the Langenargen marina
Review 27:The Wi-Fi in the rooms is a fake, if you need it, book somewhere else. The girls at the front desk are air headed. My room was quite nice butin a labyrinth, difficult to reach.
Review 28:A very helpful gentleman (Richard) at the front desk. The only one.
Review 29:My room had no safe and I was disappointed with TV channels available. Even the list was exhausting, many of them very without signal - especially music ones. Also just one sports channel was available and just one news channel. And all the channels were in German - no English. I would appreciate CNN, BBC and few more sports channels (Eurosport is just not enough).
Review 30:Very quite hotel (maybe because I was there during off-season), very nice town. I can image the view from the rooms is amazing from what I've seen (I was not very lucky, it was foggy all 4 days of my stay :-)). Rooms are clean nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and I appreciate the breakfast - the room is divided in two parts: one for choosing the food and second with tables for eating. There is a cooker standing in the first one and you can ask him to prepare omelette or scrambled/fried eggs with bacon, champignons, vegetables or whatever is available on the table next to him.
Review 31:It was way too hot in my room. I had to sleep with the terrace door open (which was nice) until the early morning when the brewery delivery on the first morning and a street cleaner the 2nd morning woke me and kept me awake. It was very noisy!
Review 32:Well designed, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was really good.
Review 33:The room was overlooking the hotel cafe and a road - the large picture windows, while providing a great view of the lake, also meant that everyone outside could see into the room. The bathroom was in the room - the only separation for the toilet was a frosted glass wall (not particularly romantic) - a design flaw, I think.
Review 34:The hotel is in a quaint little town (very quiet) but is a short walk from the train station and very close to the lakeside (although not right on the lake). The room was modern and clean.
Review 35:You can use internet only at one computer at a time (probably you may get second password - I didn't chech).
Review 36:We got a big 2 level room for a cheap price. Room was clean. Personal was friendly. Very good breakfast.
Review 37:I thought the spa had a jacuzzi but only saunas.
Review 38:The service was fantastic. The staff was very friendly andaccommodating. The breakfast was fabulously fresh and delicious and thelocation was nothing short of perfect. I loved staying there and highlyrecommend it.
Review 39:Wifi not available in room Lots of spiders Price was 100 euro more thanwhat was quoted on booking.com, lots of little fees
Review 40:Location is fantastic
Review 41:Staff is too unkindness, facility is not good to recommend.
Review 42:It's the best location near by nice lake view.
Review 43:Hotel accessory was not good.
Review 44:The staff is friednly, and breakfast was nice.
Review 45:Maid service was lacking
Review 46:Hotel staff was very efficient and friendly
