Reviews for Orea Hotel Voronez
Review 1:I had electric shock in the room. Waited for reactivation circuit breaker for more than one hour. We were group with special arrangement but some of the reception girls didn't know it.
Review 2:Clean, comfortable room. Polite stuff. Special thanks to barmen at the first floor who did his best to provide us with correct information about bears and wines.
Review 3:Easy to find and good location with plenty of parking in front of the hotel as well as at the rear. Quiet room and excellent food and bar facilities. Free WiFi facilities throughout.
Review 4:It pretends to be something that it isn't and definitely is NOT a 4-star hotel. It's an old, communist-style hotel which requires a major revamp to bring it to modern standards. The price is too hefty for what it offers.
Review 5:Convenient location for the exhibition center, nice views overt the city from the top (superior) floors. A welcome fruit plate was also a positive surprise (superior room).
Review 6:The hotel appears to be having a stand still since the 70's. For such a price (especially during exhibitions) one would expect a little more comfort. The bed was terrible and the pillows even worse. The Bathroom is incredibly small and outdated.
Review 7:Across the street from the exhibition center.
Review 8:Mainly a tour bus overnight stop rather than a relaxing experience.
Review 9:Good food and wine at reasonable prices. Courteous staff. Clean rooms and public areas.
Review 10:The room was a bit timeworn, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. The bathroom does not have any kind of ventilation, so taking a hot shower for longer than 3 minutes makes it hard to breathe inside. The airconditioning was dripping water on the carpet in our room, but I guess it's just our bad luck.
Review 11:Hotel is located in a very quiet part od Brno. There were almost no people on the streets around hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was the best we've eaten in a while. Within walking distance to our favorite Starobrno Brewery (10min).
Review 12:I stayed in late June so be aware that unless you book the premium/superior rooms, there is no a/c in the other rooms, so I had to open the balcony door to let fresh air in as the room got pretty stuffy.
Review 13:The choice of breakfast was good. The gourmet grill was okay but better eating out. The staff were nice and friendly. Bedroom was nice - it did the job for the 3 nights I was there. Wifi was very quick which was handy for business use.
Review 14:Language barrier with dining staff. Slightly unhelpful staff. limited choice with menu. expensive considering better places for less.
Review 15:Good breakfast. clean balcony quality food
Review 16:No warm water on the morning superior room is worst then normal room wifi was not working reconstruction running on superior rooms floor during our stay very poor breakfast and service on the breakfast price is very high and doesn't corespond with the hotel level
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:Coffee came to the second floor restaurant to beg.The client was not allowed to take a coffee.
Review 19:Pets allowed and for free.A convenient place for dogshows.
Review 20:After arrival received cheaper room than I booked (superior), after discussion in reception received right room. Coming into room I've realized that room has not been cleaned after guests before me, used towels, bed etc.. Was waiting to change room again for another half an hour...
Review 21:When i arrived i had a problem with thee room....the Hotel didn´t found solutions! The warm water was weak to a 4 stars hotel an for the price...is to weak! didn´t liked at all!
Review 22:Locaion
Review 23:very little parking and parking on the street during the fair paid. bardzo mały parking a parkowanie na ulicy w czasie targów płatne.
Review 24:hotel very close to the fair, old but in good condition, great breakfast , close to the center , I recommend. hotel bardzo blisko targów, stary ale dobrym stanie, śniadania super, blisko do centrum, polecam.
Review 25:The quality of this hotel is not reflected by the price. I had two separate bookings covering a total of 11 guests. For both bookings they initially told members of the group that the booking didn't exist. I had to personally travel to the hotel on both occasions to help checkin my guests. The bedroom furniture is old and something like a college dorm. Very thin bumpy mattresses and almost nonexistent pillows. Wifi services looked promising with a lot of choice for connection but each would break off after a couple of minutes connection. Everyone in the hotel had the same problem. Food was terrible and prices high. Obviously the hotel management take advantage of busy periods in brno by increasing prices.
Review 26:Location and plenty of on street parking. Good meeting point. This hotel is a very poor standard for supposedly 4 Star but better than many small hotels around the city.
Review 27:the hotel is lovely, I'm very impressed, Iscar great holiday and new year with my family, thank you
Review 28:Great location, beautiful and clean hotel, staff kind and nice and very helpful. Delicious food and big selection of meals for breakfast.
Review 29:breakfast staff
Review 30:Bed Bugs and prostitute
Review 31:internet signal kept dropping out.
Review 32:Very cold in the room, even after my tel they ve turned the heat for about an hour
Review 33:Quite nice place, very clean.
Review 34:Room cleanliness was poor. Hairs in the bath and bed.
Review 35:Air conditioning not present in the room
Review 36:Good position into the Moravian region and good service level.
Review 37:They try to please.
Review 38:Parking costs 10EUR per night.
Review 39:Huge rooms. Quiet.
Review 40:After room cleaning my tights disappeared from the suitcase. It was not a first visit to voronez, but next time I will think twice before choose it.
Review 41:Location was good
Review 42:Room was a bit hot. Hotel was been renovated.
Review 43:Staff is very polite.
Review 44:Nothing to complain about.
Review 45:The hotel was good, everything worked well and it was clean. Good parking places. Breakfast was good.
Review 46:Place Nice and clean rooms
Review 47:The towels were hard.
Review 48:Breakfast.The Grill Restaurant .The room safe.
Review 49:Nothing to praise, nothing to complain about... :)
Review 50:It did seem oddly difficult getting coffee at breakfast, as if the waitresses had been told that everybody was rationed to only one cup unless they kept asking.
Review 51:The front desk was very fast and efficient in letting me change my room. Breakfast was much nicer this year than in 2012. Wifi also appreciated. Oh yes, I had lunch in the restaurant one day and the food quality was much classier than expected. Plus, it was nice that the bar was open until 1am.
Review 52:Kind of old communist building from 70s. Clean, but a bit depressing.
Review 53:Big bathroom. In walking distance from tram station that will take you to centre in few minutes.
Review 54:Rather small rooms with beds to go in a 2 star hotel. Door was not possible to lock from the inside. Safe is too narrow to place notebook in. Fag-ends on the balcony floor. Breakfast was closer to 3 stars than 4. Very poor selection of fruits. Altogether, for the price it wasn't up to the mark of a good 4 star hotel. For 30% less it might have been OK.
Review 55:They didn't charge for parking. Wi-Fi worked all right. Staff polite and helpful.
Review 56:The Orea hotel chain bought many former Interhotels and Trade Union holiday centers and modernised them. They give this hotel four stars which is not true... There is, for example, no aircondition - only a small note telling that you can change the temperature directly at the radiator?! (which means, don't stay in this hotel during summer) And water pressure in the shower is bad, which seems to be typical for Orea hotels. So, don't have to big expectations.
Review 57:The location is rather good, a few minutes walk from the tram to the city centre. It was built during communist times as an Interhotel for guests to the Brno Trade Fair (and is indeed very convenient for those guests), and has since been modernised to meet modern standards, with smiling receptionists, new elevators and new interiors.
Review 58:I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It does not rise to 4* and it is too expensive for what it offers but it is comfortable and conveniently located so I keep coming back.
Review 59:My rooms was very hot and without air conditioning. Breakfast was very poor, the hot dishes such as eggs were cold. Orange juice was some horrible chemical and undrinkable as it had not been mixed with sufficient water. Service was very poor and price during my stay was equal to good 5 star hotel in London. This surely cannot be a 4 star hotel.
Review 60:Free parking opposite the hotel.
Review 61:It's a pretty old, average class hotel which pretends to be what it's not. The aspirations are high but the price is far too high for the standard and comfort that it offers. Definitely not 4-star :)
Review 62:Ideal location for the exhibition grounds. Great view over the city, the castle and the cathedral from the top floors.
Review 63:Pillows were "flat". Carpet in my room needed deep cleaning. Would have been nice to have more luxurious toiletries. My lock on my door was broken. To be picky, it is probably time to refurbish/update the rooms' decor. But I was still really happy as the staff were so nice.
Review 64:The staff were really friendly, particularly as I was travelling alone. The food prices were spot on too (restaurant and room service). I needed a bulb to be replaced in a light and they sent someone within two minutes. I ordered a hot chocolate for room service and it arrived within 5 minutes. Each member of staff I interacted with was polite and friendly and met my needs.
Review 65:Attitude of a certain member of the restaurant staff - female. Also Restaurant was not prepared to cater for large parties early in morning when coach parties leaving early and racing taking place. Couple of days breakfast was being cleared long before breakfast times due to finish. Otherwise we had no complaints and staff very helpful and courteous. We have used the hotel on several occasions before and this it the first time that we felt the need to make a comment.
Review 66:My experience on this trip was very pleasant
Review 67:I Was attending an exhibition and the location was excellent, room was clean, food was good and I took the tram # 1 to visit the old town of Brno several times. The tram was cheap, often and 11 minutes to the old town. I also had a great view of the Spilberk Castle and St Peter and Paul Cathedral from my 10 floor room. Don't forget the good deal I got on line....
Review 68:Small dishes at breakfast. ;)
Review 69:The location of hotel is right next to exhibition grounds where I was attending.
Review 70:Interior walls in the room around windows not maintained properly.
Review 71:Check-in staff friendly, lobby nice, good choice of meal for breakfast
Review 72:Could not get wi fi in bedroom
Review 73:location is very good for exhibition events only..
Review 74:comfort & services
Review 75:Poor room service food
Review 76:Location right next to the fair grounds
Review 77:I stay there regularly in last 4 years, always a pleasant stay and they keep the standard of the hotel services and facilities high.
Review 78:everything else
Review 79:The Location
Review 80:In this hot summer seasen, there was not air condition. My room was west side so when i returned to room, room was too hot.
Review 81:Wifi is include
Review 82:No tea/coffee making facilities
Review 83:central
Review 84:Across the street from Exhibition area, secure parking, nice room, free internet.
Review 85:A little bit outdated. A comunist-style concrete hotel.
Review 86:Good location. Nice view from the 11 floor. Friently staff.
