Review 1：Server the 2nd night in the restaurant was not very attentive. More concerned with locals than guests.

Review 2：First day was spectacular service the whole experience (hotel, restaurant, facilities, staff service). Great breakfast buffet, wonderful host.

Review 3：Not so nice arriving Sunday and Monday, because the restaurants are closed (Ruhetag).

Review 5：-Crew very nice but speak no english! Was rather difficult tocommunicate, but they are really friendly and wanted to help. -Noelevator -Wi-fi worked ok but you have to insert the username+passwordeach time you want to connect, as the network "forgets" youthe minute you stop using the internet. -A little far from the FreiburgCentral station, had to take a taxi beacuse we came late and there wasno public transportation already. -A ketttle for tea would have been agrat addition to the room... (We boiled water in a pot)

Review 6：-A nice, clean room -amazing view from the window and the ballcony. -Ashort walk away from a bus station to get to Freiburg centralstation(though buses not so often). -Breakfast was diverse and delicious(chesses, hams, vegtebales, jams, etc.) -We got a room with a littlekitchen, which could be comfortable if you bring food from outside

Review 7：Springs starting to go in the mattress but no problem sleeping. Not a problem for us but no lift and our room was on second floor.

Review 8：Pretty town within easy drive of freiburg. Very comfortable hotel/guesthouse with lovely view over town and mountains and walking tracks around the town. Quiet location. Room with plenty of space, two chairs and table, good wifi And free parking on site. Good breakfast in lovely dining room, big beer garden outside, frequented by locals who were happy to give advice about best beer and wine. Dinner available with good range of options. Owners (husband and wife) very friendly and helpful although only german spoken. We loved it and would highly recommend it for people who want a break from the typical tourist track and a taste of where germans go for their holiday.

Review 9：Wifi connectivity was intermittent. Quite a lot of noise from the stable yard next door. No lift.

Review 11：wifi was poor. Its signal was so week in the room, I had to go downstairs each time I wanted to use internet to log in then once I got internet on my laptop, I went to my room in the third floor.

Review 16：We had a great time. We were able to have our relatives come for dinner one evening....... they found a quiet area for the 14 of us could visit and eat very good food....... Friends and relatives were very comfortable dropping by to visit.. It was a home away from home. The location is great.. You can see the grapes growing out your window... And hear the church bells in the morning....It was a GREAT place.

Review 17：No washing machine facilities but stated on information. Main reason I chose this hotel. Smell of smoke from other people's rooms. No tea and coffee making. Admin did not seem very interested in us checking in.

Review 30：Horse stable/barn next door was wonderful as we are a horse family; but IF the hotel could partner w/ the barn and offer horse riding to hotel patrons, would have just made the visit undeniably the best stop on our tour. We did ask the stable staff if possible; unfortunately, "no".

Review 31：Great atmosphere. Our first night there we were fortunate as it was the weekly polka/traditional band social night. So fun! Though we didn't dance, great to see the locals polka the night away. Charm of the hotel was just what I'd hoped for. Loved it!

Review 33：Owners were not welcoming and friendly once they knew you could not speak German they were unhelpful and rude especially the husband, they also charged 6 Euro for the Internet where ther connection and speed was atrocious , great surroundings but let down by grumpy hots

Review 36：The rooms were spacious for the value and clean. The owner was very nice, although he could speak little English. The hotel and the village were so picturesque and a lovely refuge from the city atmosphere of Freiburg. The included breakfast was very nice and helpful.
