Review 1：Absolute surprise to find this excellent hotel. A lovely location in the woods, food good and bedrooms of an excellent standard. Such value for money.

Review 9：Arriving and discovering that the white, concrete block is where your room is located is a disappointment. The photo on Booking.com shows a Tudor-style lodge. That's the restaurant. In spite of the austere building, the rooms are very nice. Some signage directing guests to recpetion would be helpful, too.
Review 10：The rooms at this hotel are exceptionally comfortable. The furnishings are new and modern, simple, and attractive. Personal care items in the bath are of good quality, and the striped towels are a welcome change from the usual white. Best of all, the bed linens are top quality, and a pleasure to snuggle in to. Finally, dinner in the restaurant was excellent. It's obvious there is a trained chef involved in menu planning.
